We booked the spa for our wedding day reception. All I can say from the second we pulled up in the wedding car they made us feel so welcome. The room was decorated to just how I wanted it the food was out standing when we broke out of the room so they could get it ready for the evening... More

Having stayed at The Spa several years ago, when it was grubby and run down, I got a nice surprise this time, as it has been refurbished ( work still ongoing). The folk festival weekend is such a busy time for the staff, but they tried so hard to please and were really polite and helpful. The food has improved... More

We stayed in one of The Spa Hotel's dog-friendly rooms for two nights. Staff: Extremely friendly and helpful. Location: Very handy for the beach and lovely views. Food: Good, though quite limited - would love to see more variety and a few lighter options (and later service times in the evenings). Dogs allowed in the snug only, which is totally... More

Me and my fiance stayed at this hotel as we had a wedding nearby. It was fantastic and very well priced. We were greeted by the female receptionist who could not do enough for us and was very helpful. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and decorated beautifully. The food was fantastic and very cheap. We had a sandwhich with... More

I held my retirement party in the Function Room of the Spa Hotel on Friday 18 July 2014. A good venue as the room holds at least 100 people and has its own bar & toilet facility so a private function is self contained. The staff I dealt with were all very pleasant, helpful and co-operative. The hotel provided a... More

We returned to the Spa for an overnight stay, after 4 years of not being able to get away, and what a difference, the hotel is having a makeover/refurbishment and it is looking less tired. It was brilliant to go back and the service we cannot fault, staff friendly and very professional. There was a wedding on but still nothing... More

Just come back from my cousins wedding yesterday, The service was good, the only problem I had was the spacing of the chairs as there was not much room to move. The meal I had was very tasty, however there was a kink in the service I where three people on our tables got their meals a good 10 minutes... More

Thank you for your review and for your lovely comments. There seems to have been a little hiccup with the pre-order but hopefully it didn't impact too much on your day. Thank you for your kind review and we're so pleased that you enjoyed your cousin's wedding day. Best wishes and thanks again, Cathy, Jonathan and The Spa team x More
