We stayed here for 4 nights on our way home from a holiday in Cornwall. Val was so kind and welcoming, with cream tea ready on our arrival. The room was clean and tidy, with lots of extras above the usual tea and coffee. We had the evening meal on three nights and it was good home cooking. Breakfasts were... More

We stayed here for one night last weekend. After only a short time it was like visiting close family. The welcome was warm, friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. We took our young grandchildren with us and they were soon playing with Val's children as if they had known them for years. The family room was great with tea,... More

Found this on the Farm Stay website for 4 of us to stay on our way home and what a wonderful gem it is. The rooms were excellent, the warm welcome with the best cream tea ever and Val and her family made us feel at home. Great value and 100% recommendation..

What a lovely place, we enjoyed every minute from a warm welcome tea with val to a delicious evening meal. We all slept well in our beds (so quiet) and woke up to enjoy our breakfast, Ella said it was the best and can't wait to go back.

Despite worries about one of the children who was in hospital, Val couldn't have been more welcoming. We stayed en route between Land's End and John O'Groats. Our room was great and Val cooked us a good evening meal.

Hi Shirley Nice to see you reached John O Groat's. Really pleased that you had a good time with us despite the hospital visits and things. Perhaps we will see you again when you are down this way. Cheers Val More

My husband and I have just enjoyed a lovely 6-day break at Forda Farm. Val, Rod and the family made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived, starting with an excellent cream tea. We also enjoyed the tasty breakfasts and a lovely evening meal (with very generous portions). We were in the Tamar room, which is in a... More

We were made to feel extremely welcome by Val and family on arrival and were treated to a sumptuous homemade cream tea in the farmhouse. The self-contained room is a delight - super clean and comfortable. Val cooked two lovely breakfasts for us, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We enjoyed a lovely walk around their farm land on Sunday morning, to... More

Cor, what a wonderful farm to stay at. My wife and I have rarely had it better. We were made welcome by Rod as Val was unavailable at the time. He made us feel at home from the start. The family room we stayed in was fantastic, the food Val cooked for breakfast was excellent and very tasty and kept... More

I stayed here during a recent stay in Devon and Cornwall and the farmer’s wife couldn’t have been more friendly or more welcoming. The room and food were excellent; the only downside is that because of its wonderful remote location the internet connection is a little slow. The fact that the internet was available on request was just an added... More

Well were do we start? Upon our arrival Val had done some beautiful baking of cake & scones with piping hot fresh tea to wash it down. Not only was it most welcome but Val made us feel most welcome with her laughter (which was infectious) & entertained us with her warm sense of humour. A very pleasant half hour... More
