So the hotel is no longer "dated" as many of the previous posts say. The renovation is very modern and lovely. The pictures on their website are completely accurate, and you can tell the rooms are new and very clean. We stayed in the Panorama Suite for the first leg of our honeymoon, we were the first people to stay... more

We were getting married in corfu town and stayed at the Akrotiri beach hotel because of the spetactular views-breath taking. Although the hotel then was a bit dated I believe it has been updated since. The staff we so helpful and friendly, there was entertainment most nights - which really was entertaining. Evening meals at the hotel weren't great but... more

The Akrotiri Beach Hotel is one of the two largest in this part of Corfu, and offers all the ammenities one would expect of such an upscale hostelry. It is situated on a bluff with the sea surrounding it. Far below on one side is a sandy beach; far below on the other, a rocky point from which to swim... more

I should like to say that my husband and myself had a very pleasant stay at the Akrotiri Beach. Yes, the hotel is a little dated and could do with a lick of paint in some areas, but it was clean and plenty of space, a large lounge and bar area for evening relaxing. The rooms were a good size... more

First of all, I would like to mention the fact that the hotel is not an average 4 star hotel. A 2 or 3 star rate should be more adequate. Instead, the rooms are very clean; all of them have sea view, air conditioner, TV, and a small refrigerator. The hotel staff is very reliable, they help a lot, and... more

corfu is a beautiful island, with great landscapes, views. here are a lot of small villages, with very narrow streets passing thorough them(beatiful). paleokastritsa is the best city(village)is quiet and relaxing, form here u cand borrow almost everything, from boats to bikes, cars...very resonable prices. the hotel did not impressed me, but just for staying it's ok..rooms clean, air conditioning,... more

First of all, when planning to go in Corfu, be prepared to spend a lot of money in transports as public transportation is very rare (only a few buses between Corfu town and some localities). You need to rent a car or to take (expensive) taxis. The Akrotiri Beach Hotel is definitiely not a 4 star. The location is magnificent... more

We emailed and requested a good sea view as this is the most important part we feel of a good holiday, and we were not disappointed. Room 501 has a stunning view of the bay. Could sit for hours. However the room was like an oven when we arrived and even the air con struggled. We had read the reviews... more

It is a clean hotel, about 30 year-old, has been only partially redecorated. I do not recommend eating at the restaurant, choice is very limited (esp in the morning) (we had half-board). There are two beaches very close to the hotel. One of them is actually not a beach but just rocks (good enough for experienced swimmers, I guess) and... more

As everybody else we loved the stuntning views. The staff were helpful and friendly. The food was ok (hb) and enough. Basic rooms but very clean all with terrace and sea view. Also the AC was free. The pool very clean and with a beautiful view, the kids loved it. We enjoyed the aqua park trip, but hated the Blue... more
