As a family we chose the bed and breakfast option. We are glad we did this because the restaurants around Paleokastritsa and Corfu Town are very good with tasty food and pyctoresque views. The hotel is not a 4* one! The view a 7* but the hotel istelf is deffinitely 3*.The rooms have beautiful views and a big balconies. However the... More

Stayed at this brilliant hotel during the last week of July and it was so relaxing. The location is second to none and our room was very pleasant and we were well looked after. We found the dinner to be very satisfying - just what we wanted - Greek food in a Greek hotel, there was plenty of choice and... More

Polly and I stayed at the Akrotiri Beach on a B&B basis for 12 nights in early August. We had booked direct and got a great rate which included all airport transfers. Background The hotel was built in 1976 and it's been under the same ownership since then. This perhaps leads to some small exentricities in it's management. We visited... More

Having read reviews for the Akrotiri Beach hotel before arriving, we went to Corfu feeling a little apprehensive and were very pleasantly surprised. From reading previous reviewers' accounts, we can only conclude that others' expectations of a 4-star hotel in Greece were unrealistic. Firstly the location of the hotel is brilliant with incredible views across the bay and the local... More

We have just returned from 10 days at the Akrotiri Beach Hotel. We had a fantastic holiday. The hotel was in a great location, the staff couldn't have been more helpful, and the rooms were spotlessly clean. The terrace has to be the best sunset location in town. There was entertainment every night, mainly local singers. The bar was not... More

We ended up enjoying our stay, but there are some things to know before you decide to stay here. The location is great, and an easy walk to beaches and restaurants in Paleokastritsa. Plus free parking, and you'd definitely want a car. There is a swimming area just for jumping off rocks into the sea, and that was our favorite.... More

My boyfriend and I went to the Akrotiri Beach Hotel for a week in late July 2014 and had an excellent stay! We opted for the cheaper room, and still got a fantastic view from the top floor. We were shown around our room by a lovely girl from Reception. The room was clean with nice decor, and had a... More

Go for superior rooms / renovated rooms, but old bathrooms / .Avoid diiner at the hotel : it is cheap and bad . Breakfast served school / hospital cafeteria style and they use low quality products . Kitschy reception / bar decor to be redone urgently .Reception staff is unimpressive .Restaurant staff is either very nice or totally univolved. Beach... More

We stayed at this hotel for 7 days. I must say that we are very suprised when reading some of the positive reviews that this hotel has received, since they do not at all match our experience! Lets start with the pros: we stayed at a superior room at fifth floor. The room was nice and had a balcony with... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this family owned hotel. One of the larger hotels in the resort but not a large hotel in itself. We were on the half board option and we thoroughly enjoyed the meals provided. As I indicated the hotel isn't over large so the evening menu options aren't going to be considerable, There were generally 5... More
