We choose Zakspitaki based on the reviews and we were not disappointed! It is a perfect B & B; friendly, helpful, excellent breakfast, charming hosts, lovely views and great recommendations for dinner. The design and layout of Zakspitaki has been carefully thought out and beautifully reconstructed and modified The island itself is beautiful and for a week we coped fine... More

Arriving at Zakspitaki by public transport is no mean feat but we did it, although we were rescued in the end by one of the island's 5 taxi drivers in his pickup truck! Our host Nick had been waiting unbeknown to us at the picturesque port of Gaios and both he and Helen were amazed to see us arrive by... More

We have just got back from another great break on Paxos. Everything you read here about Nick and Helen is spot on so no need to add any more. We were here when the temperature was around 38deg daily and not much cooler at night. We stayed for 17 nights in jacaranda which is great traditional Paxos home but with... More

Our hosts certainly went the extra mile for us and nothing was too much trouble. If you want to use the B&B as a base for exploring the island then a vehicle of some sort is essential - we chose a car, but others managed on two wheels. Nowhere is really remote on this small island but within an easy... More

I have just returned from the most wonderful week in Paxos. I stayed at Nick & Helen's charming B&B in the 'summer house' and it was simply perfect. It was everything I was looking for in terms of accommodation, it's a great place to stay to get some serious R&R. Completely bonkers to leave!

We were so impressed with how homely Nick and Helen's Bed and Breakfast is and how easy it is to relax there. We loved exploring the island but were always delighted to return to Zakspitaki. Nick and Helen are the perfect hosts - kind, informative and with information about the island perfectly tailored to each guest. They've created an idyllic... More

This was our 3rd stay with Nick and Helen. We could never understand why people go back to the same place every year on holiday... Until we found Paxos and Zakspitaki. It's somewhere we can completely relax and unwind, there's enough to do if you fancy some beautiful walks, even down to Loggos is a lovely easy stroll, whilst still... More

We had a great and very relaxing holiday in Helen and Nick's lovely B&B. We stayed in the Jacaranda cottage which felt very homely. We really enjoyed the delicious breakfasts in the beautiful garden overlooking the sea. Helen lets you pack all the leftovers for lunch if you like which we thought was really great. As other reviewers have commented,... More

We had an incredible time with Nick and Helen. They showed kindness in all respects during our stay, from providing a great welcome bottle of champagne to begin our honeymoon to helpful guidance for exploring the island. We loved our cottage, breakfasts, conversations with them and the amazing surroundings of their home and the beautiful island of Paxos. There is... More

We spent a lovely few days with Helen and Nick. The setting is wonderful with good views down to the coast. We went in early May and the wild flowers were beautiful. At night there were fire flies with the call of Scops Owls and it was very atmospheric. The room or cottage we stayed in was decorated and furnished... More
