I stayed here with my husband for a long weekend in July and Helen and Nick made what could have been very frustrating into a lovely weekend. On arriving at the airport we discovered that the airline had lost our luggage - the thought of surviving the Grecian heat in my skin tight Seven jeans did little to put me... more

I first visited Zakspitaki four years ago with my then 13yr old son and have been back every year since. What can I say that has not already been said by others on this page, it is all true. Beautiful gardens, fantastic themed rooms, wonderful hosts in Nick and Helen, who have become firm friends. If you want to visit... more

I have just returned from a fabulous fortnight at Zakspitaki. I stayed, by choice, in the Summer House. A perfect place to unwind, with its own outside lounge, a shower with the most amazing view, a huge African bed & a flower on my pillow each day. Relaxing in the lovely garden & being invited to use Helen & Nicks... more

zakspiitaki will appeal to independent holiday makers looking for somewhere to stay that is stylish ,comfortable and very relaxing.Situated in a quiet lane amongst olive trees and a very loved garden. The bedroom i stayed in was large and comfortable and well furnished. Breakfast is not to be missed! The owner makes the best banana bread. more

The room was exotic, tranquil and very practical - every little detail had been thought of, from: delicious homemade cookies and fresh flowers on the pillow every day. The sumptuous breakfasts were something else! Helen is a... more

This was a fantastic find - we cannot rate it highly enough. The room we stayed in called the Zanzibar room was truly beautiful, a huge room decorated to a very high standard featuring a wonderful huge carved four poster bed. I spent an hour just drooling at all the beautiful things. Our hosts were so welcoming and made us... more

I have stayed at Zakspitaki a couple of times so far and it is so relaxing I'm planning to go again next month! The accomodation is amazing. I've stayed in the Zanzibar room and the Indian room, both very spacious and lovingly decorated with en suite facilities. Helen and Nick are perfect hosts and the breakfasts are incredible. The garden... more

Spent a wonderful week at Zakspitaki with daughter and son in law in July. Fantastic, relaxing week. Bedrooms with all the luxuries of a first class hotel. It was great to have use of lounge and kitchen, not to mention the lovely garden with hammock for a complete chill out! The plunge pool finishes the day off with a great... more
