Recently my partner and I visited Chania and stayed at Kastalia Village which was a great choice of accommodation for us in reference to the location and the facilities. There was transport readily available to get us to and from the city and was located on the way to many of the best sites of chania. The room we stayed... More

A good value for your money if you're traveling with kids and don't mind that the area is a very quiet one. We enjoyed the surroundings (nice garden, 5min walk to the beach, kittens in the hotel area) and the best local restaurant was conveniently located right next to the hotel at the back, facing the sea. However, if you're... More

LOCATION: average, just fine for families with kids. There are a couple of small grocery stores, pharmacy, spa and at least 3 decent restaurants within walking distance. It's about a 5 minute walk to a pebble beach. It's not a happening place, so if you are looking for a place to party at, skip this. You can easily Google map... More

The hotel is located in a nice garden, nice apartments (2 balconies, 1 with sea view), enough space. You have to pay 8 euro/day extra for airconditioning, wich was really neccesary. We booked especcialy for the new opened waterworld, but what a dissapointment that was! There's a lifeguard which spoiles all the fun, because he is very strict on the rules,... More

Hotel has nice pool area for the kids. Enough sunbeds for visitors and food/drinks and ice cream from the bar. Everything is very clean and well maintained. But that is about it. Hotel is quite far away from everything. You have to go everywhere by bus/car. Only few restaurants in walking distance (one very good behind the hotel though) Rooms... More

I was visiting there in july with 7- and 8-years old children. We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very clean, beautiful garden and pool areas. The staff was kind, smiling and helpfull and the atmosphere in the hotel was relaxed and cosy. No loud music was played. Next summer they are going to open a new pool area... More

We had a great week. I can fully support the rewiev of Jakob Hansen. We had no mixups but a hard time when the watersupply stopped because of a broken mainpipe. This was not the hotels fault but some kind of general information would have been nice. But again - nice people doing their best to give you a great... More

All in all we had a good experience here. The reception personal was very helpful and welcoming. The pool bar personal wasn't very good during the evening/night periods but otherwise very nice. Pricing in the pool bar was slightly expensive with a 25 cl coke at 2 euro and 1,5 L water bottles at 1 euro. This is slightly higher... More

Kastalia Village - is really a small complex of apartments and perfect for a quiet getaway. Our apartment was spacious enough for the 2 of us and our toddler, and immaculately clean and kept that way throughout. If I had one slight criticism it is that the apartment was a bit dated and the kitchenette very limited, but provided a... More
