Overpriced = yes for the following reasons. If someone is paying you 34k for their stay (for 2 days) you should not pick them from the airport in a bus on a shared basis..that is not five star experience. You should not charge separately for using wifi inside the hotel campus on an hourly basis. You should not charge separately... More

Once you arrive at this 70 plus acre property and greeted with a lot of warmth a cute eco friendly electric buggy with a well trained chauffeur, drives you to your villa. The Leela Goa has landscapes that won't cease to amaze you. The serenity of this piece of paradise is worth all the money you pay. The pool the... More

I agree with all the positive reviews except for two exceptions. We were "club" guests. Our "private" pool villa was not private. The porch could be seen clearly by passerby's, and from the pool area. We were given a villa, which I did not accept, and then they moved us to an even larger villa which still wasn't private. However,... More

Having visited a number of so called 5 star properties in GOA over the years...this is one of the best i have stayed in. Everything about the resort was just amazing, even though I went during the Monsoon period, (Off season), I could not fault this place the Food, the service, the restaurant, swimming pool, health centre, everything was just... The Leela is known as the best hotel in Goa, as this was the first time I have been to Goa I can't make judgement on that. As a five star hotel, I felt it lacked the consistency of perfect service that comes from impeccable training , supervision and management. Don't misunderstand that comment, individually members of staff were gracious... More

This was perhaps one of the best properties we have stayed in. The villa rooms are adjacent to the central water body. We were on the ground floor so our balcony opened up to actual nature: water, greens, birds, etc. Sitting out in the evenings are heavenly. Thoroughly romantic :-) It was our anniversary, the hotel sent in a cake... More

We stayed in September for 5 nites. The best resorts we have been in Goa. The food was great, service was fantastic and the restaurants were superb. We go to Goa every year and pick different resorts every visit. This was the best by far. We will certainly go back again.

This is a beautiful hotel with well-planted landscaped gardens, pool and beach with sufficient sun-loungers for all. Accommodation is in a red two storey village curving through lagoons filled with pink lilies; our room opened onto a balcony from which we watched kingfishers, cormorants and a heron each morning preening themselves on the trees. Egrets walked the croquet lawn, and... More

Recently stayed for 7 nights at this beautiful hotel where the hotel is located within secure lush gardens overlooking lake areas and backing onto a large private beach. I had written in advance asking for two room close to main building and located on first floor; this request was duly met as was the provision of champagne and cake for... More

We stayed for 2 days in Nov 2014. It was a great experience filled with luxury and comfort. The resort is huge but very very well maintained. The lobby/reception area looks more like a historical monument with carvings/ statues in stone everywhere. Overall it feels like a different world. Lets get to the specifics Pros * Courteous, well mannered, eager... More
