southern palms is an amazing resort, we were met of the bus with cold towels and taken into breakfast while we were checked in. The breakfast buffet has everthing anyone could possibly want to any egg you want includuing omlets to fresh pancakes, fresh fruit, ceral, toast, juice, english breakfast etc. The other choice of food is good also although i would go all inclusive or full board as lunch time prices are high. When there venture to the local shops (left out of the resort) BE FIRM WITH THE SELLERS and they will leave you alone, everyone in this village is not starving and the benifit best if you go to the main shops which have a locally controlled dividence. In this shops you will find drinks from 25ksh (about 20p) and share size drinks for 80ksh (70p) and 5ltrs of water (good to get to fill your bottles for excursions means you dont have to clean the tap water) for 150ks! You will also find some nice traditional souveniers from diani beach barclays shopping centre.
