Fabulous hotel. Staff go the extra mile to accommodate your needs and make you feel special. Rooms are spacious and well apportioned. Will definitely come back. Worth every cent. Only problem was bad wi-fi connection in rooms. Hope its been fixed now.

We had a fantastic 8 days at Swahili Beach last month, we were ecstatic when the reservations manager confirmed that we could hold our wedding there. My husband and I live in the UK and so all our wedding arrangements were done via email with the food and beverage manager - Griffin. Griffin was amazing to work with and gave... More

You feel like you are a guest in a Swahili Arabic Sultan's Palace....! The hotel design is superb Swahili style architecture and the interiors are tasteful and modern and yet continue and blend excellently with the Swahili Arabic theme.... stunning. Stayed in the superior room 25 and Suite 26 and ..... Wow! Not a single tile is used anywhere in... More

Like other reviewers, I think the hotel itself is simply amazing. The rooms are huge, airy, beautifully designed (the bathrooms alone are unlike any I've ever seen at any hotel, and I've stayed in many) and very comfortable. The swimming pool is a multi-level work of art, and no written description does it justice. A lovely feature is the numerous... More

It is so sad that many people are afraid to go to the Kenyan coast! They will miss out on real paradises on Earth like Swahili Beach. This is one of the best hotels I have ever been in Africa, believe me, I have been working in twenty eight African countries, lived in seven of them and spent many holidays... More

Cannot fault this hotel at all.... trust me, I have travelled the world and stayed everywhere but this was pure bliss. From its taj mahal looking gardens to the 8 swimming pools shaped to look like one big waterfall ending in a lagoon, and from the white sandy beach to the monkeys in the trees this IS the most amazing... Had a 1-night stay in early May at Swahili Beach and had a lovely time. Food was excellent with such a wide variety for dinner and breakfast! Lunch was at the Beach bar..very nice! My room was No85 which has a lovely sunken bath and rain shower. The bed was huge! View from the verandah was also nice. The best... More

Spent four days here last week and absolutely loved it. The rooms are great and well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. They organised a birthday cake and song for one of our friends (thanks Amani) which was great. The selection of food at the main restaurant is quite varied and will cater for almost all tastes. The pools... More

For the third consecutive year, I spent 2 weeks at the Swahili Beach. This time, I even enlarged the party and had my parents, my sister, her husband and their toddler come along. We all had booked superior rooms. When my partner and I checked in (one day before the rest of our party), we were upgraded to a suite.... More
