We have been to this hotel in June for the last 2 years and found the family owners to be very helpful and welcoming. The situation of the hotel is fantastic - the views are really great and you can easily walk to the local beach and further to Voidokilia if you like walking. The gardens of the hotel are... More

We were travelling through this beautiful region of Greece and needed an overnight stay. The location was perfect as we wanted to see the beach of Voidokilia, which is nearby. The receptionist was very helpful and showed us to our room, which was clean and pleasant with nice views over the gardens. However, the room was pretty basic with no... More

I have been visiting this hotel for 16 years. I have been to many other parts of Greece but this area of Messenia and this hotel stand out from the rest. The hotel itself is family run, friendly without being over the top and extremely welcoming. It is thoughtfully laid out in landscaped gardens with an excellent pool. It is... More

Very average rooms, with an atmosphere that does not help you relax, fridge not working, stain on sheets (!!) bad breakfast - really does not justify the price. Only the pool is OK but not enough. Avoid

We are shortly to stay at the Navarone Hotel for the ninth time which tells you how much we love it and we are not alone in returning year after year. The Konstantelos family who run the hotel are friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The rooms are clean, the gardens prettily laid out and well maintained, the pool inviting... More

The Hotel Navarone was only opening for the season when we stayed here in May. The accomodation is pleasant in bungalows spread throughout lovely gardens. There is no restaurant in the hotel and fortunately a simple nearby beach taverna was open where we got dinner as we had had a long day at Ancient Messine. We had an excellent buffet... More

If you are in the area (and even if you're not!) you must stay here! A 5 minute walk to unspoilt beaches (with a couple of tavernas), with lovely countryside around. The rooms are comfortable and clean with areas outside each room to sit. The gardens are nicely landscaped, the swimming pool area with pool bar is done very nicely... More

Hotel Navarone is in an idyllic spot just outside Pylos. A short walk from a fantastic beach, 2 cool tavernas on the sea - one trendy, one authentic and cheap - a nice pool with a bar, and a spectacular breakfast area. The staff are also cool. So if you're in the Peloponnese, do yourself a favour and stay here.... More

Having just returned from a motoring tour of the Peloponnese with friends we stayed in 2 of the Hotel Navarone apartments for five days. My wife and I have stayed here many times over the years but it was the first time in Greece for our friends and they were overawed by the location, facilities and friendliness of everyone around,... The hotel is really well situated. The rooms are fine. The staff very helpful. The pool is really nice too. You do need a car to get around as there is no town in the direct neighbourhood. The village of Gialova is totally worth a visit, especially at night.
