Dobbiaco in the northern Dolomites is a very nice small town. Hotel Monica is managed by a family with very kind local staff. We felt welcome every day in this hotel. Our Comfort rooms with balcony was perfect for us. The large buffet breakfast was a good start. The 4-5 dishes half board dinner was perfect after many hours of... More

We have just come back from three weeks in Italy with nine days spent at the Hotel Monica. We were travelling with our two teenage children and all stayed in one of their two bedroom rooms. The rooms are well designed and the timber work beautiful. We did half board so all of us sat together for a cold and... More

Beautiful, traditional looking hotel with all the convenience of a modern fit-out. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the bathroom gorgeous! Location close to the bus station for easy access to surrounding areas. (Bus pass available). The owners, Roman and Monica do an amazing job ensuring all their guests enjoy their stay. They collected us from the train station and... More

This is a family run hotel with all the benefits that this brings. The hotel has free parking and a substantial breakfast is included. Our room was traditional in style for the Dolomites with a balcony and a large bathroom and separate wc with hand basin. I would recommend that guests opt for half board as this is excellent value... My husband and I both feel that the owners of this hotel give the best service, and make you feel so welcomed. We have traveled to many countrys and stayed in many places and the Hotel Monica would be the first on our list for a repeat stay. We were both very sorry to leave this fine establishment. In such... We stayed at Hotel Monica for three days in May 2013 and took the half-pension option. The standard of food, service and quality of room far exceeded our expectations. This is a medium-sized family run hotel but they make you feel very much at home: Roman is the main man with wife Monica along side (obviously). The evening meals are... More

This is an excellent 3-star hotel. This traditional, family run hotel has a cozy lobby area, a lovely bar and restaurant on the main floor and a second bar downstairs that includes a dance floor. During our stay, there was live entertainment on Wednesday night (Roman's band - very good)! We had a junior suite - it included a small... More

We stayed for 9 days in this family-run hotel and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Centrally situated both in the town and within easy reach of several cross-country ski areas, it provided perfect lodging during our ski vacation. Our room was clean and comfortable; had plenty of storage space; and contained a beautifully tiled, warm, and well ventilated shower... More

The husband and wife here are just so friendly. They are everywhere all the time maintaining quality. The hotel is top notch including the food with half board. Hiking in the area is amazing. Buses to everywhere are located two minutes away. Only one flaw. Internet shuts down at 11 pm and is only available in lobby. In the morning... More

Together with my 3 children, we stayed for 6 nights in this great location. Dobbiaco is located in the neighbourhood of 3 National Parks in the Dolomite. Hotel Villa Monica is situated in the centre of the town and still it is a very quiet location. The managers Monica and Roman live and work in the hotel and you feel... More
