I wanted the perfect romantic venue to propose and wow did I find it! The Sakinaw lake lodge was amazing. I spoke with Garret and Liza a few days before we arrived to plan the surprise... They were both so helpful I couldn't believe how much they were prepared to do for me.. We arrived and checked into the Cedar... More

Just returned home from a great weekend away on the sunshine coast. It was a surprise birthday treat for my wife and so she was very excited when she found out that the way to the B&B was via a pontoon boat trip. This was the start of a wonderful, different, experience. Upon arrival we were greeted with an amazing... More

Thanks to Garrett and Liza, we had a wonderful time at Sakinaw Lake Lodge. Even though there was a glitch with our booking and we didn't get the room we wanted, they went above and beyond to make sure our stay was everything we hoped for. We had lovely intimate dinners in our room. Their 'helpers' , especially Max made... More

We stayed in the safari tent for a weekend, in early September. Garrett, Liza and Donna were awesome hosts, the breakfasts were scrumptious and the weather divine. We spent our time basking in the sun on the floating dock and swimming in the lake. The luxurious tent was a little hide-a-way nestled in the trees, overlooking the lake with our... More

My friends and I were lucky enough to have the winning bid at a charity silent auction that benefited an outdoor education school. Our prize, a 2 night full lodge stay at Sakinaw Lake Lodge. The lodge owners/operators, Garrett and Liza, had generously donated this stay at their property to help benefit children who needed financial aid in order to... More

My friends and I recently stayed at the lodge and did a full lodge rental! Garrett and Liza were so amazing and so helpful! They didn't even have a problem with doing 3 pick-ups at the boat launch for us! The lodge was relaxing and absolutly amazing!! We had a chance to enjoy the outdoor kitchen and use the hottub!... We have stayed at Sakinaw Lake Lodge twice - it is fantastic. Garrett and Liza are very friendly and accommodating, and the breakfasts are wonderful. We highly recommend the Cedar Suite - or booking the whole Lodge! More

Believe the hype. We're from LA and the we're not bed & breakfast folk. The thought of sharing space with strangers makes my skin crawl. You can imagine my hesitation when my husband suggested a long weekend at Sakinaw Lake Lodge. "Wait, there's a shared outdoor kitchen? And we have to take a boat to get there? And we're sleeping...
