Aldwark Manor Golf & Spa Hotel, 17th & 18th August 2014 Following a pleasant night’s stay at Aldwark Manor in January, my wife and I booked in for 17th & 18th August. We were allocated room 215. This is a dingy, pokey little room at the back of the hotel, most significantly right next to the industrial strength kitchen ventilator... More

Just back from a wedding and long weekend in the Aldwark Manor Hotel and we had a lovely time. I would like to say a special thanks to the staff who looked after us so well, especially Steve the Manager, who definitely went the extra mile for my family and I. This is the kind of service that sadly doesn't... More

Staying at this hotel for the first time, whilst the rooms are a bit dated, they are updating them I believe, they spacious and comfortable. I haven't had time to check out the spa but it looks good. The best thing is the food and the service which I can't fault both have been excellent. If you are a big... More

We decided to stay overnight when we were invited to a family wedding recently and very pleased we did. Even though we only live in York we expected it would be a long day and would be good to be able to retreat to a room if we felt necessary. On arrival we were informed that the room was not... More

Stayed for a third time, as have always enjoyed the ambiance , of Aldward Manor Hotel, this time for a special occasion and had the good fortune to be upgraded and loved the room and view. The staff were great and the evening dining experience was excellent especially when "Dean" arrived and organised the dining room with professional efficiency. The... More

We stayed at the Aldwark Manor on 2 occasions in the same week around visiting family who live nearby. On the second occasion we upgraded to a Q star room and this was well worth the extra money, however both rooms were good. The first, in the modern part of the hotel, had fab views over the golf course. The... More

Dear sootie11 I was pleased to read your review after your stays with us. The QStar rooms are worth the extra supplement and the rooms as you said are bigger and have the extra touches in there. I agree that dinner is not a race but I will discuss your comments with the Food and Beverage team and the Operations... More
