This warm and friendly family hotel is located in the lovely town Guillestre, in the Alp region of France. The rooms are simple, clean and efficiently equipped. During the night the mountain air feels cool and gentle and Guillestre is a quiet town, hence very restful nights. Breakfast is served in a large communal room by the friendly owners. The... More

For this area, in high alps, close to the high cols of d'Izoard, Agnel & Vars, & the Ecrins national park, this is a perfect spot to stay; great staff, outdoor & indoor pools, lots of places to eat in the village, including their own restaurant adjacent to the hotel; overall, an excellent experience.

We stayed in this hotel with 8 persons last September. Very nice no nonsense hotel for a good price. French breakfast with some extras. Nice indoor and outdoor swimming pools. You can take diner round the corner in the city. Good price/presentation, value for money.

A super little hotel in the gorgeous village of Guillestre. Patricia, who runs the hotel is incredibly welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Free kit washing for cyclists a very welcome bonus. The first of many stays for us, for sure.

This little 2* gem in the French Alps is such a pleasant repast for tired hikers and bikers. It is in the heart of the biking and hiking along the Route des Grandes Alpes. It is a pleasant property which offers pools, gardens, camping, cottages and a restaurant. The hardworking family that owns the place are universally friendly and helpful.... More

I used the Catinat Fleuri on the first night of a mulit day hike in the Queyras, in early September 2012. Nice hotel, very reasonably priced, nice restaurant, where I had lunch. Breakfast. Simple, but very good. Patricia, the landlady lovely person. They even let me leave my convertible car, under cover in their garage, while I was away hiking... More

Good location a short walk from the small town centre. Plentiful free parking. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Nice shower. Clean rooms. Breakfast quite good value but on one day we didn't get ham/cheese and fruit until we asked. Downsides - the room smelled a bit of disinfectant. Decor very dated. Balcony looked out onto the carpark and flats opposite,... More

I stayed in this hotel while cycling Le Tour des Grandes Alpes and it was more than we could have hoped for. Handy cycle storage, excellent shower, comfortable beds and they even did laundry for us! They had a good value set meal of excellent food available in the attached restaurant, don't know about the breakfast (although they looked appetising).... More

We stayed here last minute when it was looking like we wouldn't make it to our planned stop in Chamonix on return from the south of France for hubbies 50th trip - we misjudged journey time accross the Alps! We had the last room, which was in the attic, and although small and basic it was very clean and comfortable.... More
