My new husband and I just got married in the Dandenongs and hired the Lodge to stay in with our bridal party the night before our wedding, splitting the house in two in the morning so the girls and guys were separate - highly recommended for this purpose, there was plenty of privacy and the grounds are just stunning, perfect... My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in the cottage at Fernglen and just loved the way the cottage was in amongst the bush and the biggest trees I think I have ever seen. Alix was a wonderful host and organised a massage for us both in the cottage. To wake in the morning and hear the birds... More

My wife and i stayed at the Spa Lodge for our 4th Wedding anniversary,we also brought our little 2 year old daughter. Alix (The owner) supplied toys and activities for her which i thought was very kind. She was also very accommadating and her hospitality was A1. We booked the entire lodge for a wedding and international friend reunion. Alix, the owner, was very accommodating and the venue is beyond awesome. It's the little details that count too and these were not overlooked. Even the kids are catered for, with a trampoline and a good selection of toys and dvd's on site. The adults are of course... I can't recommend Fernglen highly enough. This is the second time we have stayed here and this time I brought my baby and mother-in-law, who both adored the accommodation and the view. Fernglen is excellently located minutes from Mt.Dandenong, Olinda and Sassafrass. It's also a short drive to Healesville and the Yarra Valley. Even though there are shops and restaurants... More

Absolutely gorgeous! My partner and I spent 1 night in 'The Fern Cottage' and had the most relaxing stay. The little log fire and lush green surrounds made for a perfect romantic night away! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and we will certainly be returning, for a much longer stay next time!

My daughter and I stayed in the 2 bedroom Windmill Lodge for 2 nights and were blown away by how quiet the retreat was even though it was so close to restaurants and shops. It offered complete privacy, clean, large rooms with masses of spotless windows from which to view the lush surroundings and visiting rosellas (seed provided). Thank you... More

Most beautiful and romantic getaway in Victoria. Excellently comfortable lodging in remarkable proximity to local restaurants and shops. Either dine out on local, sophisticated cuisine or get a takeaway pizza and open your favourite wine amongst the trees and ferns. Will definitely return, highly recommended

My partner, myself and our 11 month old spent two nights here in The Lodge and it was amazing! It was so peaceful and the spa was lovely. Alix was very friendly and the surroundings was just beautiful. Would highly recommend staying here.
