Kerry and Maryse B. We have visited many romantic retreats around Australia for our Anniversary each year and Adeline B & B is one of the best. The cottage was vintage style but with modern amenities. Nothing was omitted for the comfort and the breakfast ingredients were abundant. Organic eggs to die for, bacon - wow, fresh fruit - more... A delightful cottage with lovely hosts. Much attention to detail with fresh flowers, chocolates, lavish breakfast ingredients, books, DVDs..... One of the best cottages we have ever stayed at. The decor is superb, glorious gardens, and a range of dining options nearby. Great dining advice available from Eileen and Denis. They are very friendly but subtle hosts. Highly recommended!!!!!

We just spent two weeks in Australia, 3 nights of which we stayed at Fern Cottage. It was our favourite stop during our trip. The cottage is beautiful, with an extremely comfortable bed, and is very warm with central heating, and a wonderful wood fire. The breakfast provided by Eileen was incredibly generous, we had so much food, all good... More

I want to thank Eileen & Dennis for the most beautiful little cottage. Not only does it have all the old world charm, but it also includes all the modern conveniences needed. You have literally thought of everything, that anyone would be looking for in a B & B. The surroundings, the furnishings, the breakfast supplies and the extra 'little... More

Hosts Eileen & Dennis can't do enough for you. The cottage is generously provisioned with everything you could need. Ideally placed - a short walk from mtg dandedong village and restaurants and a short drive from Olinda village. The cottage well appointed with lovely views on a sloping block. We highly recommend.

We stayed in the Majestic Suite for the first time in March 2011 which is where I proposed to my now wife and returned for our 1st Wedding Anniversary in January 2013. The place is still as enchanting today as it was back then. Eileen & Denis really get it - it's the little things that count such as the... More

Beautifully decorated with so many touches of luxury, comfy beds and set in beautiful gardens with wild birds visiting the verandah The breakfast supplies were delicious including local bacon and eggs. My partner and I stayed 3 nights at Adeline in the crispy cold month of June 2012. The weather was rainy and cool, the gardens were abundant with beautiful flowers, plants and fungi of various varieties. Sitting on the perfectly kept, old style verandah in the rain was like being in a magical dream. The location was perfect, a 5... More

This year we decided to take our first short stay break in Victoria which is a favourite destination of ours. Having explored the Yarra Valley, Melbourne City, Ballarat, Bendigo, Daylesford and the Great Ocean Road over the past couple of years we were interested in somewhere within easy access to Melbourne given our visit was only 4 days duration.
