My wife and me stopped by on our way to "Setomaa" for a luncheon. We entered reception area and found two ladies behind the desk working, but not greeting. We found the way to the restaurant very easily and two waiters were just preparing a large table for a function. When asking whether the restaurant was opened, one waiter handed... More

We had 2-room suite. Excellent room, nice view over the pine forrest. Modern facilities. Bed linens and bathrobes were really nice. Spa was excellent: very modern and clean. Breakfast was ok, but for the two mornings half of food and dishes was empty.

Presidential suite is in terrible condition - torned wallpaper, stains in sealing and walls, worn out furniture, hole in bedroom door etc. When booking via telephone administrator said that this is a luxury suite and did not mention a single word about the horrible condition of the suite. They even did not bother to answer my email of complaint...

We had a luxury room with a forest view and were really satisfied with it. The staff was really polite and friendly, only the room-cleaning could do a little better. Breakfast was really good with lots to choose from. Liked the sauna centre as well. Enjoyed the spa-treatments, specially the massage. As being a nature spa, didn´t understand the need... More

Hotel has no airconditioning so it gets really hot during summertime. Could't sleep due to bad air ventilation and lack of airconditioning. I asked why the TV channels were not adjusted as stated in the room guide. Hotell staff didn't bother to reply. Soviet type of service.

A lovely place in a beautiful nature spot - a lake, a beach, a forrest (with gigantic trees and, if you are there at the right time of the year - lots of forest berries). The hotel is not an upscale luxury choice (and does not pretend to be), but an honest down to earth place to stay, enjoy the... More

A comfortable and relaxing atmosphere with an amazing spa! The room was simple and not luxurious, and the hotel itself needs some attention to detail, but overall we were very pleased with our experience.

Peaceful surroundings in the midst of pine forest is the best part of this hotel. The standard rooms are rather basic (i.e there are no toiletries) and have this distinct hotel smell usually encountered in cheaper/big hotels (probably comes from some cleaner). Though we kept the window open a lot, the smell was always there and made entry to the... More

If you like nature and quiet environment this is the place to go. Staff was great. We had couple of treatments which were ok. Food was good every time. One minus for the lack of air conditioning. When its hot outside then its hot inside. Take your own fan with you if possible. We had a room at second floor... More

Actually we didn't look for any SPA, we need a place for stopover during our next estonian trip. The reviews were good, photographs inspired so we booked the place for one night. Every good word about Kubija is true. The evening was perfect: we sat in the bar for a while, took a long walk around the neighborhood, took sauna.... More
