What a location!!! Incredible views across the lake and mountains. Beautiful decor inside. Great shop selling all kinds of gifts, camp supplies, outdoor clothing etc. Amazing restaurant with all-you-can-eat fresh lunch buffet for only 110 kroner. Just what you need after a week's hiking! Would love to go back in winter to see the northern lights....

We were only visiting the restaurant as our hotel was in Harstad but the food was really good. Service was excellent and price not too bad considering there was not many other choices available in Abisko. The main building was lovely and warm which was good s it was quite chilly outside. (I've had to fill in the 'Sleep Quality'... More

The two of us booked a shared 2 beds room with an extra bed. We couldn't dream that it could mean that we ended up in two different rooms as we did. The staff were very uncongenial when asked about it. BE AWARE THAT YOU CAN END UP IN DIFFERENT ROOMS.

We also stayed here after the Fjallraven. Regret booking and should have caught the bus back to Kiruna, but wanted to experience the end of hike experience. Camped one night, told to camp in marked out area at rear of hotel. We were in a small tent, but could not find any suitable camping spots, we found better camping in... More

We stayed at the STF Turiststation in Abisko after taking part in the FjällRäven Classic 2015. They offer everything you need after a long hike with camping for several days. The reception is well informed and always tries to provide help whereever they can. You might wash your clothes (60 kr / machine for 3h), in advance you need to... More

Camp is 5minute walk from parking place so you have to take everything with you from your car (tent, sleeping bags, blankets and clothes), showers and toilets are just horrible, dirty and smelly...I paid 3time less in Norway small camp and had 100x better shower The place for tents is really not made for tents, not easy to build there... I used the campsite in June 2015 when the service building was closed for an unknown reason. This was not a major problem as we could use the facilities from STF's hostel. These include: a kitchen including stoves, water cooker and a fridge as well as running water. Besides, there are 2 drying rooms also with a washing machine to... More

Its a nice campside with shadow of the threes. The food in the restaurant is very good and for 110sek at lunch you can eat as much as you can. The camp has an reduction of the price if you are member of the hosteling international. Sadly there are many moskitos.

We booked the hotel for 1 night, so that we could travel up to the Abisko Mountain and view the Aurora. This area is the best for viewing the Aurora. The room was basic buts that all we wanted, it was warm and clean. The restaurant was great, the breakfast and dinner tasted amazing and there was a lovely choice... More

We booked the youth hostel in the beginning of the year. Just before the trip, the STF called us stating that their shop and restaurant would be closed due to shoulder season. The nearest shop and restaurant was 2 km away, Abisko East. We could choose to cancel the booking with refund or change the date. We appreciated their honesty... More
