The bure was run-down, the mosquito net had holes in it, the bed was rock solid. The toilet and shower block was revolting. You have to pay extra for everything, wireless is expensive and doesn't reach in the bures, kayaking and other activities are expensive as are the food and drinks. I booked for 3 nights but there was no... More

A wonderful experience for the eco resort lover, backpacker, or short term stay. I was a short term stay. Young crowd and modest but clean accommodations. I stayed in a private tent with a private bath. It is all worth it to swim with the Manta Rays, just beware of the rusticness of the resort. Wonderful staff and fabulous beach!... More

We have just prematurely escaped this island having been disappointed by how basic and poorly maintained our standard bure was. There weren't any ensuite bures to upgrade to so our only option was to GTFO. The toilet block is a poorly lit hike away from the rooms and are uninviting to say the least. The bure is a shared facility... More

Beautiful shores, crystal clear waters and the opportunity to swim with manta rays...what more could be better? This little island in the Yasawas was already a hit with me but the thing that topped it off was the impeccable service which meant my friend and I would get our ordered chips and not miss the Yasawa Flyer transfer boat...through the... It's a really nice island, the 4 bed dorms are in small cottages. It's close to the stream where the Mantas swim, so they go only out, when they spot some. Some other Islands offer the manta swim cheaper. For me it was one of the best experiences in fiji. The showers only rinse, if you have long hair, it... More

We stayed at barefoot manta for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Nothing was ever too much. We stayed in a hut on sunset beach. It was a bit windy but we managed fine. The food was excellent, a variety for breakfast including toast, pancakes, fruit, beans, scrambled or boiled eggs and... More

Having been delayed for a short time it was great to arrive on the island to a warm welcome by staff. Very friendly and they couldn't do enough for us. We had a great few days and loved being on a very chilled and relaxed atmosphere. Our beachside hut was amazing and very clean with great views of the ocean.... More

Bula Dave Thank you for choosing to stay with us. We're really pleased to hear that you had a good time, in spite of the bad weather! Our accountant has indeed been off ill, but we would never expect our guests to wait this long for resolution. Please accept our most sincere apologies for the delay in processing your refund.... This is a beautiful island but it's very basic & back to nature. It's all about where you are, not the facilities of the resort. I shared a Beach Bure, 2 in a room, some of the guys in my group had 4 in a room. They only have fans & nets to keep the bugs off you at night.... More

My partner and I have lived in Fiji for a few years and this is among our top 3 resorts without a doubt. We may be a little bias, because we got married there too, but we only chose to do so after many trips there! Barefoot has the mantarays as a top high light if you are there at... More

I stayed on barefoot for 2 weeks as volunteering with vinaka Fiji. The shared burres are very basic, but with a perfect beach within feet of them you don't even notice. Food is okay although choice is minimal. Staff are great, really friendly and helpful. I would go back there in a heartbeat.
