Had the best time there we stayed in the luxury bure (don't know about the other accomodations) and it was just awesome. The food was great. And the staff took really good care of us ;) I wish we spent more time there. Would definitely go back

I travelled to Barefoot Manta Island with family members including two preschoolers. We stayed in tent-like Bures with the beach merely metres away. We had an ensuite with the shower open to nature and the coconut trees. We were able to watch the beautiful sunsets from the beach and enjoyed amazing meals at the restaurant. Each night the Chef came... More

My experience at barefoot island will forever remain one of my favorite experiences. From the rooms that overlook the white sandy beaches, to the inviting hammocks that are scattered all over he island, and of course swimming with mantarays; this island certainly does not lack in immersive experiences. The staff are super friendly and really do try their best to... More

I stayed here two and half weeks volunteering which is longer then most people as they would move onto another island after two, three nights. I loved my stay and was very sad to leave. Its mainly backpackers and travellers here. My little hut was a doorm, not very big and no storage for stuff but it was right on... More

Visiting Barefoot island was a life-changing experience. The island itself is beautiful, with pristine beaches that enable you to snorkel from the beach, witnessing the magnificent coral reefs and abundant colourful marine life that surrounds the island. Snorkelling with the incredible Mantarays was a mind-blowing experience and highly recommended. I scuba'd for the first time feeling safe and secure under... More

The bure was run-down, the mosquito net had holes in it, the bed was rock solid. The toilet and shower block was revolting. You have to pay extra for everything, wireless is expensive and doesn't reach in the bures, kayaking and other activities are expensive as are the food and drinks. I booked for 3 nights but there was no... More

A wonderful experience for the eco resort lover, backpacker, or short term stay. I was a short term stay. Young crowd and modest but clean accommodations. I stayed in a private tent with a private bath. It is all worth it to swim with the Manta Rays, just beware of the rusticness of the resort. Wonderful staff and fabulous beach!... More

We have just prematurely escaped this island having been disappointed by how basic and poorly maintained our standard bure was. There weren't any ensuite bures to upgrade to so our only option was to GTFO. The toilet block is a poorly lit hike away from the rooms and are uninviting to say the least. The bure is a shared facility... More

Beautiful shores, crystal clear waters and the opportunity to swim with manta rays...what more could be better? This little island in the Yasawas was already a hit with me but the thing that topped it off was the impeccable service which meant my friend and I would get our ordered chips and not miss the Yasawa Flyer transfer boat...through the...
