5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW via mobile

Six of us visited for lunch yesterday. I had not been for a couple of years because on my last visit I had been disappointed by the food. However, on this occasion it was excellent! It was an interesting menu and when I asked the young man taking our order several questions about dishes he was well informed and helpful.... More

We arrived early evening to a very warm welcome from Lynn who arranged for us to be shown immediately to our beautiful rooms. The rooms are spacious, immaculate with wonderful extras such as a hidden miniature kitchenette, Penhaligons toiletries and fabulous artwork. We enjoyed a relaxing dinner from a seasonal, locally sourced small menu including Roe Deer and Pigeon, with... More

Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Cosy bar area with couches, a log fire and cask ales, what else do you need? To top it all off they serve fantastic pub food that's fully worthy of their 2 AA rosettes. Will definitely be back! Thank you.

We arrived at the hotel at around 15:30, and were immediately greeted as we walked through the door. I didn't catch the gentlemans name, but his customer service was spot on. He offered to carry our bags and showed us to the room. He answered any questions we had and could tell us how long it would take to get... More

We didn't stay at The Kinmel Arms so can't rate the hotel facilities, but out of our 4 nights stay at a local B&B at St Asaph we visited the restaurant at The Kinmel Arms on 2 nights. Our B&B had recommended a meal there and the food was just excellent. A good choice to choose from and well presented... More

The Kinmel Arms has nearly everything. Stunning location, gracious caring hosts, overwhelming bar, stunning menu and wine list but just left underwhelmed by the food. Everything was there. The fresh ingrediants, service and presentation but it just seemed to lack taste. Visually amazing on all levels but failed to excite the pallet. Would definately return for the atmosphere and surroundings just... More

We were here for a wedding breakfast. The staff were all friendly, polite and helpful. The service was great, as was the food. The hotel is beautiful, as are the bar and restaurant area. It would be a lovely hotel to spend the weekend as the surrounding area is very pretty.

My boyfriend took me for one night stay on my 30th birthday, the rooms were fab, the food was amazing and the hospitality form the owners Tim and Lynne was second to none!!!!!! Definitely recommend and worth every penny. I would also have to point out that we were a 'little' out of their league when it came to the... More
