Had a meal at the kinmel arms good value for money. Excellent menu can clearly see good quality chefs in the kitchen as food was delicious . Service was second to none with the owners able to answer any questions re food and local produce. Will Definately be returning in the near future and would Definately recommend to ALL.

Loved the ambience and the decor to the place and if the food was to this standard it would have clearly been a full 5 stars, so i was looking foward to and expecting a hearty local produce type meal tasting devine. Unfortauntely I was disappointed! The menu itself is pretty small and nothing captured my taste buds, and being... More

Amazing meal and stay at the Kinmel for my 47th Birthday. I decided to go for Scallops and Sea bass - bearing in mind I do not normally eat fish - this was absolutely deliciuos, deserved of a Michelin Star Quality restaurant. The chef even personalised our desert! As for the rooms - absoluteness beautiful, adorned with owner Tim's own... More

We booked a table for our wedding anniversary and I don't think we could have done better. Beautiful old character inn full of charm. A warm welcome and very comfortable leather sofa by a log fire and an excellent pint of Flintshire bitter. Charming intimate restaurant area all the food fantastically presented and very tasty. I especially enjoyed the king... More

We arrived here in the middle of a gale. Late and cold. We have dined here once or twice, although a while ago, Tim, the owner welcomed us in and made sure we were warmed and comfortable before showing us to our room. As a regular business traveller in numerous faceless chain hotels I do appreciate good service and this... More

I have eaten here a few times over the years and had always enjoyed my meal. Our meal this weekend was no exception it was excellent and as my boyfriend said " how can they fit so many complimenting flavours on one plate". We had the cod coujons and the pigeon breasts for our starters, both were just perfect, followed... More

Six of us visited for lunch yesterday. I had not been for a couple of years because on my last visit I had been disappointed by the food. However, on this occasion it was excellent! It was an interesting menu and when I asked the young man taking our order several questions about dishes he was well informed and helpful.... More

We arrived early evening to a very warm welcome from Lynn who arranged for us to be shown immediately to our beautiful rooms. The rooms are spacious, immaculate with wonderful extras such as a hidden miniature kitchenette, Penhaligons toiletries and fabulous artwork. We enjoyed a relaxing dinner from a seasonal, locally sourced small menu including Roe Deer and Pigeon, with... More

Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Cosy bar area with couches, a log fire and cask ales, what else do you need? To top it all off they serve fantastic pub food that's fully worthy of their 2 AA rosettes. Will definitely be back! Thank you.
