The Finca is in a very peaceful setting, approximately 2 km from nearest houses and 8km from nearest shop. To make the most of the area a car is vital and if you get suggestions from James the owner there are very reasonable deals available from the airport. The Finca is staffed by a delightful local staff who despite their... More

We went to this hotel in May and still have wonderful memories of its breathtaking location, charm and good food. The owner James is a veritable fount of extremely useful info. so ignore him at your peril! It's quite expensive and the pool is unheated but refreshing. If you don't like driving but don't fancy staying put then don't go.... More

We were looking for a peaceful location to unwind and found it at Finca Es Castel. Situated in a lovely quiet part of the Majorcan countryside, the Finca has outstanding views both over the valley and of the mountains. The hospitality was warm and friendly from James and his staff and nothing was any trouble. Dinner on the roof terrace... More

James and Paola are relaxed, wonderful hosts and the staff are very efficient. This finca is about 2kms from the nearest houses and very peaceful. In one direction, it is possible to see town and villages distantly across the plain. Immediately behind the farm, there are steep wooded hills. Breakfast was a self service buffet giving a wide choice of... More

A delightful finca in stunning countryside location. James and all the staff are most welcoming - everything is very well done, but in a casual fashion. The food & wine are great, many local Mallorcan specialities. The bedroom was spacious and airy and a great eclectic collection of books all around the place.

Finca Es Castell's web site says that it's been voted one of the ten prettiest hotels in Mallorca and the best hotel in Spain. It's difficult to argue with either of those opinions. The hotel, a converted farm, overlooks the little village of Binibona. From the roof terrace, where dinner is served when the weather is good, there is a... More

If ever you wish to stay in a hotel run by an enthusiastic owner and his wife this must be the place to go, James and Paula are amazing in his their completly customer focussed attitude to the care of their guests and their bounless enthusiasm for the customer enjoying their properties to the full. What a great hotel. We have just come home and feel already homesick, but we shall return next spring of course . I have written so many reviews here that I think James won't mind this time me skipping this rather repetitious task of praising his work and that of his wonderful staff. Thanks for everything, And you know that... More

My Fiancé and I spent 4 days in Finca Es Castell in September and absolutely loved it. I loved everything about it. - We were greeted by delightful Xavi who made us feel so welcome and relaxed the minute we arrived. - The location is amazing, hidden away in the Mallorcan countryside in the middle of the olive trees. -... When I booked this place through a recommendation, never in a million years did I think it would be this tiny valley getaway which is remote enough from the "outside" world. I arrived pretty late on Saturday eve and was traveling alone for the first night. Finding this place is an adventure for sure and I thank google maps and... More
