It was tip top and we loved our stay as we were actually on honeymoon. The house is now sold as a private residence, but watch Tripadvisor as Mark and Suzanne who owned Dun Na Mara will be opening up a new B & B in Malta (Borma - The Merchant House) and it promises to be just as good... More

We spent two nights here on our B&B-tour throughout Scotland. Our room on the first floor had gorgeous sea views and was spatious, clean and newly furnished. Breakfast was rich (individually composed the evening before) and all-inclusive. The B&B sits directly on its private gravel beach, with a 10 min drive to the next village/restaurant. A perfect place to stay... More

Dun Na Mara is situated between Oban, only 15 minutes to the south and Fort William and Ben Nevis convenient to the north. From all locations, the drive to the house is spectacular. We had a rear view room. Nicely decorated in cool colours. Bathroom was good and a decent shower was bliss after so many places with efforts that... More

I just wanted to say this hotel gave me and my partner a wonderful experience for 3 lovely days. I can't forget how delicious the breakfasts were and I especially loved the contemporary artwork on the walls. I honestly say that i've never been to a better hotel and I want to go back! More

I had high expectations for Dun Na Mara after reading excellent reviews and it did not dissapoint in any way. Mark and Suzanne are wonderful hosts and get the balance just right. The breakfast is fantastic, great choice and the porridge with whisky quickly became my holiday treat. We also ordered a meat and cheese platter one evening which was... More

Dun na Mara is in a beautiful location - right on the beach overlooking the islands with mountains behind. The house and rooms are beautifully presented - clean and minimal with quirky well chosen touches from the owners travels. The breakfast was superlative - for both meat / fish eaters and vegetarians alike although a single communal table would make... More

Spent three nights here. Great location for exploring the west coast. The B&B is set in a tranquil spot 15mins drive from Oban overlooking a deserted beach withbeautiful pebbles and plenty of seaweed. The rooms are bright and airy, and even the non sea-view rooms are a treat. Great breakfasts , although the arrangement of the breakfast room makes interactions... More

Mark & Suzanne personally operate this gem of a small hotel in a quite outstanding and unique position looking south west down the Firth of Lorne. Quite simply the descriptions on their website don't do it justice. Superb rooms, stunning position, brilliant hosts, the best breakfast in Scotland and total peace. What more could you want ! More

Put off by the available accommodation in Oban, my fiancé & and jumped at the opportunity to book into Dun na mara - couldn't believe our luck to have found such a luxury B&B - our bad luck is we only had one night here. Mark and Suzanne greeted us on arrival, made sure we were comfortable before leaving us... More

This was our second stay at Dun Na Mara; on our first trip, my wife and I were married in Oban, so the location has special meaning to us. Mark and Suzanne are absolutely wonderful, and the peacefulness and serenity of their inn's location is matched by their wonderful service and incredible breakfasts. The site on the loch is almost...
