This neat, fastidiously clean B&B is like staying with your best friends. You will get to know the dogs, the chickens in the yard that supply breakfast and most of all Gary your friendly host. Afterall it's Gary's home and he will make you feel at home. Don't miss the walk down to the Loch across the street. Gary's breakfasts... More

We had an excellent two night stay at an struan, made to feel at home by Gary straight away, breakfast was superb fresh eggs and home made bread was a good start to the day. An struan makes a superb base from which to explore the area on foot or in the car

We definitely felt as if we were guests in someone's home. Whether you like this or not, it is up to you. It was very quiet, lovely birds out of the window, amazing breakfast. All in all, it was a nice stay. However, the walls were very thin. I was woken up by our neighbor snoring. And I am not... More

Stayed on Friday July 12th 2013 for one night. Nice spacious comfortable room and we were made very welcome by owner Gary. On arrival tea and coffee was supplied with cakes and biscuits in the garden (it was a lovely touch and a sunny day!) Breakfast was lovely with fresh eggs and home cooked bread. Just 7 miles north of... More

We stayed for one night as we moved north on our way to the Highlands. What a find! We hope to be back for a longer stay in future. We arrived about 4.00pm to be offered afternoon tea and cakes in the garden. Gary is an excellent host who works very hard to make sure your stay is as relaxing... More

Homely atmosphere deserving it's 4* rating. Gary, the owner pays every attention to detail and the ddogs add that extra welcome. Nice lounge in which to chat with other guests. Try the Lock Fyne kippers . A good stop over for ferries or exploring Argyll.

We spent a most enjoyable 3 days here. Gary, the owner, works extremely hard to ensure everything is to the highest standard and his guests are well looked after. The house was spotless, and our bedroom very comfortable. Extra touches include toiletries and tea, coffee and biscuits in the room. We were offered hot drinks and home baked scones when... More

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night (it should have been 3 but we came home early due to the snow). We were made very welcome by Sarah who made us tea and coffee and gave us home made biscuits and scones. She recommended the Mariners (aka the Glue Pot) for somewhere to eat. It was the best... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review on our house It was a shame you had to go earlier, we didn`t get the snow at Benderloch, but the roads down to the city did, really bad. We have our specials offers on until the end of March. Nice meeting you both, and hope to see you again,... More

This is one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed. I wish it was my house! The room and bathroom rival any hotels and feel so much more cosy because of the little touches Sarah and Gary have added. They are two of the nicest people you will ever meet and clearly love their business. Both are wonderful hosts,... More
