Stayed here when traveling with a group. Room was clean and tidy with a comfortable bed. Good WIFI included, as well as a buffet breakfast with continental selection and cooked items. Perfect for the Nurburgring which is minutes away. Had a fantastic meal at the pistenklause restaurant next to the hotel. Would highly recommend the steak cooked on volcanic stone.... More

close to the track, comfortable, and the mecca for all RingHeads ... its good to support the local economy rather than the big chain hotels like the Lindner. Simple, clean, comfortable and you can drink and dine in the Pistenklause and roll into bed right after!

We arrived around 9pm with no set plans for the night - stopped here as it was close to the Ring. Perfect choice! Great location, quite nice rooms, not expensive with breakfast buffet included. Attached restaurant, PistonKlause is also very nice. Planning another trip in a few years and will definitely stay here again. No issues with noise, or Wi-Fi,... More

We picked this hotel mainly due to the fact that it is owned by racing personality Sabine Schmitz’s family and it’s where she grew up. It is located in close proximity to the Nurburgring and therefore great for us as we were headed for the Ring. The vibe in the hotel restaurant is good if you’re a racing enthusiast and... More

We only went here for a buffet at noon with a group, but being 'the' hotel of the Family Schmitz (with Sabine known for her extraordinary driving skills at the Nordschleife), nothing linked to this charismatic person. Besides, the buffet was quite simple, no special touch and the service was friendly but chaotic (had to ask several times to order... More

We stayed at the Hotel am Tiergarten while ticking an item off the bucket list - driving the Nurburgring. It's a pleasant, quiet, well-located place, an easy walk from the castle and very near the 'Ring itself. The breakfast and lunch buffets were very good, although it would have been nice to be able to take at least a drink... More

I wouldn't call it a quiet hotel, but it's the kind of noise you come to the "Ring" for.....the sound of High Performance engine whirling by. The rooms were large enough and clean. The staff were courteous and helpful and the breakfast was more than ample! One of the best parts is the restaurant that is in the lower level... More

Second stay here on a visit to the Ring. Family run so has a good personal touch. As well as the rooms within the standard hotel complex, there are several houses owned by the hotel which are used for guests. We stayed in one of the guest houses about a 2-3min walk from the hotel. The place has been recently... More

Most people staying here will have at least a passing interest in motor sport, it's ideally situated for that, so let's concentrate on its quality as a hotel. Staff very friendly, room clean and well appointed, efficient wifi, fine continental breakfast with a wide range of bread. The loss of the fifth blob was because the room was not particularly... Comfortable room, good breakfast buffet selection, parking off quiet street. Restaurant caters equally for steak lovers (grilled on hot stones) and for vegetarians (various Italian dishes with fresh vegetables). Try a bottle of the local (Mosel) red wine - a real treat.
