Four of us stayed at the Manifold Inn in rooms 8 & 9 having taken advantage of a special offer of £99 per room for 3 nights b&b which included 2 course meals on the first night. Our room was tidy and well laid out, but the standard of cleaning was not brilliant - however. it certainly was not dirty.... More

Four of us visited for a meal on Monday 3rd November (two were guests in the pub staying overnight). All had the Monday Night Steak Special - 2 steaks (we all had rib eyes) and a bottle of wine for £25 per couple. Steaks were cooked to perfection and came with all the trimmings. Everything was hot and the wine... More

The rooms here are lovely. The two bedroom cottage is fantastic. And the location couldn't be better. In nice weather the beer garden is lovely. Fantastic walks either from the pub or starting within a very close drive. The managing staff are incredibly friendly. The younger staff and most bar staff are unfortunately mainly quiet and / or rude. The... More

I arrived before 2.30 check in and was told by a polite young man my rooms weren't ready which was perfectly acceptable but he nevertheless insisted on taking full payment even before we'd seen the rooms. We'd been allocated the Cottage which sits attached to the front of the pub and consists of a kitchen and seating area. The man... More

No one offers to seat you, you have to as, we had to ask for a menu, it took a while to realise you have to order a tthe bar. then you have to wait for all the regulars to be served their drinks before placing you order. Was told there was no cola (strange a bar with no cola)... More

We stayed in one of the rooms over the restaurant and pub, during the middle of the week. We found it to be very comfortable and we didn't have a problem with the noise level, probably because it wasn't over the weekend. We enjoyed the view we had out the front and side, toward the field of sheep, right across... More

Like another review we read, just be aware what you are paying for... this is a lovely place for an overnight quick stay but do not expect too much. It is a pub and not a hotel. Great for an quick, well priced overnight stay but we would have not wanted to stay for much longer. Our room was clean... More

We enjoyed our night at The Manifold Inn which satnds in a lovely position with easy access to walks and cycle tracks. The room was extremely comfortable, the food was good and the staff welcoming and helpful. However, for me the stay was somewhat spoiled by the fact that there was an intermittent hot water supply, resulting in a cold... More

We stayed at The Manifold Inn for my cousins wedding and cannot recommend it enough. The parking is on site, the rooms were recently furnished with a boutique cosy feel to them. It was very clean, we received a warm welcome and the family professional service was exceptional. We also had a 10 week old with us and they were... More

My self and my partner we camping across the way ... And after a long day walking with our dog hadn't the energy to cook ... So called across .. Our dog was allowed to sit in the bar with us (big thumbs up) ... And we ordered a burger .... One of the best burgers I've tasted ... It... More
