The farm accommodation exceeded our expectations as a rural retreat in the beautiful countryside of the Peak District. David, Alison and Gemma were wonderful hosts. With their horse Rosie, and their dogs and other pets they made this a wonderful time for us. Their hospitality was truly amazing accommodating our special dietary requests and last minute changes in plans. We... More

Stayed here overnight whilst attending a wedding nearby. Gemma, David and Alison were incredibly accommodating and helpful despite our short stay; Gemma very kindly gave us a lift to the wedding (and even offered to pick us up post reception). The room I stayed in was incredibly clean, and comfortable - a very good night's sleep! Breakfast was great, as... More

Picked for proximity to Tissington Trail - we were not disappointed and enjoyed a fantastic stay. Farmhouse is easy to get to but quiet and sheltered at the top of the White Peak. David Alison and Gemma were considerate and outgoing hosts and our children will not forget their calf, rabbit, guinea pig and dog experiences in a hurry. Thank... More

The thirty other five star reviews speak volumes about the experience Cotesfield offers. The accommodation is situated right at the bottom of a small, unassuming track and is indeed rustic but that is part of the beauty of this place: it doesn't pretend to offer boutique - instead an impressive, clean and comfortable, farmhouse that has volumes of character. The... More

Spent the weekend here with friends having had to previously cancel in February due to illness. David and Alison were incredibly understanding about this so we were determined to re-book and were very glad we did. Although it is a B & B, we had our own sitting room and kitchen area, perfect for coming in with dog and muddy... More

We have just returned from a long weekend at Cotesfield Farm and I simply can't speak too highly of the place. It's not the accommodation, though that is excellent, spotlessly clean and comfortable; nor is it the food amazing, quality home cooked fare though it was that makes it so special. I can sum up it three words what makes... More

We have done some research prior to the arrival to make sure we are not staying in just an ordinary b&b, and I must say that our expectations were met!! We loved the personal touches like home made break, fresh flowers etc. David and Alison along with their daughter Gemma were fantastic very welcoming and chatty, showed us around the... More

Great B & B, very clean, well appointed etc. Great location, especially if you are interested in the Tissington or High Peak trails. But the best thing about the stay was the marvellous hosts who couldn't do enough for us. Very welcoming, friendly, flexible. Fantastic really. Great breakfast too. Will definitely go back and would recommend it to anyone.

Warm and very personable welcome, great cook, the food was wonderful. Accomodations clean and spacious. There were three of us. This was a wonderful experience and highly recommend -"It's a keeper". We will go back again. Their recommendation of a day trip was awesome. Beautiful countryside views. We spent two nights and wished longer. We visited May 4-5, 2014. So... More

It's very hard to fault this gorgeous farmhouse B&B. Firstly, the location is stunning, it will make you stop and take in the wonderful views all around. Just set on the Tissington trail it's perfect for walkers, cyclists and anyone wanting to get away from it all. The accommodation itself is very homely yet modern and immaculately clean. Comfortable beds... More
