We have just returned from this hotel having spent a week there following a week of crusing, it is certainly not a 5 star hotel in any way other than the price of drinks. the food was poor with very little choice for main meals the staff were not very welcoming and the rooms are very outdated with ours on... more

Despite slipping on the slippery steps to the diving platform and having to receive first aid to deep scratches to my leg (whilst standing and holding up my skirt in full view of the reception), the steps were not cleaned. On two occasions our sleep was disturbed in the middle of the night by someone calling for Kassiopi Hospital which... more

My wife and I stayed at the Imperial for the first two weeks of May and overall it was a most enjoyable experience. However we soon realised that there is an ever increasing reliance on buffet served meals and if you don't join the rest of the queue quickly in the evening your choices of food becomes severely limited. As... more

Stayed at the hotel basically the last 4 days it was open before closing down for the winter period. Saying that , the hotel showed no signs that only in one day everything would be closed up and locked for the winter. All staff was excellent and very discreet , helped us out with restaurants and even suggested to bring... more

I cannot believe what a previous trip advisor member has written about this hotel.I totally disagree with their comments. My husband and I stayed at this hotel in May this year.Prior to this we stayed there twenty years ago when it was named The Astir Palace. It was nice then but has improved a lot. We can't praise the hotel management and... more

I just came back from a 1 week stay in this hotel. I think this is one of the worst hotels I ever stayed at. Exept the view and the great location this hotel has nothing that could compare it to other 5 star hotels. How could a 5 star hotel have staff which dosent speak english? How can the... more

Just returned from the Corfu Imperial after spending 10 days there. The location is excellent with wonderful views. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was wonderful plenty of variety everyday.Whilst we were staying there an Arabian Prince and his guests were on the same floor as us (5t Floor)I would recommend this hotel. The only downside was the... more

The hotel is located on a private peninsular with a number of small private beaches. The location is very picturesque and surrounded by well-kept gardens. One of the down sides for the location is that there are very few restaurants or bars within walking distance and a night out will involve a taxi ride. We booked a standard room that... more

We are a middle aged couple who normally stay 5* HB or cruise P&O. We enjoyed our holiday in Corfu despite the Imperial rather than because of. Accepting the base line for 5* status is not internationally agreed, I use P&O Cruise as bottom line for standard. This hotel falls well short of 5* - indeed in my view struggles... more
