Good staff, good breakfast on a terrace with stunning view The rooms were good equipped, clean and new! The only problem was the problem with the wifi, but you're there on a vacation! The complex is calm and one can really rest and forget about everything. I qualify the value for money as avarage just because France as a whole... More

This was my third visit to Castel Verde, self-catering. The resort is close to the beach and Santa Giulia has a great beach good for kids. You can rent a sun bed for EUR 15 a day in front of the Bar Plage. There is also a smaller beach where you can rent by the hour which can be more... More

Went here with my sister and neither of us had been to Corsica before but we both found it just breathtaking really. We were booked into our rooms very quickly. The rooms were a nice size. Peter our rep was very helpful with everything and we booked excurrsions to both Porto Vecxhio and Bonafacio. There was a lovely little shop... More

The hotel is in a truly beautiful part of southern Corsica. As already stated the apartments have very small bathrooms with the shower cubical 2.5ft x 2.5ft, with the toilet & sink area to match. Seeing really is believing! We stayed on a self catering basis & when compared to self catering studio apartments in other countries (Greece, Portugal etc)... More

Late 40 something couple staying in the castell verde studios mid September for 2 weeks. The negatives first: the studio we requested was sea facing, fine, but the balcony view was totally obscured by overgrown trees. What a waste. Whilst there we looked at Cala Sultana apartments which highlighted how dated our studio was. Despite that very clean, well equipped,... More

As already mentioned rooms are fairly basic, with the bathroom being of marine style - very compact. Was surprised to find that we were expected to make our own beds on arriving, cleaning is done once a week and your expected to remove all bed linen & towels on depature. You are all so required to remove your rubbish daily... More

We have just returned from our week-long stay at the self catering Castell Verde apartments. The apartments are very small - the bathroom (which has a toilet, basin and shower) is tiny - just enough room to turn around. The shower itself runs lovely and hot. As you enter the apartment there are bunk beds to one side and bathroom... More

... by the apartments. In other words: disappointed because (1) they are so dark that we had to have lights on throughout the day with almost no natural daylight - very depressing; (2) ridiculously small bathroom (2 m2, no kidding) with no space to change. no window in the bathroom – again very depressing. (3) Get one with sea view... More

We had a fantastic stay here at Castell Verde. We stayed for one week at the end of June 2011. It really exceeded our expectations and we would love to return one day. Just a shame Thomsons have taken it out of their program for next year. Our studio was very clean and very well equipped. The bathroon is small... More

Hi just got back from 2 week stay at the Castell Verde apartments absolutely loved everything about this island and resort. Apartments clean and very well catered for, yes there are two small supermarkets on Santa Giulia however they are much more expensive than large supermarket in Porto Vecchio. On arrival if arranged transfer you get the chance to stock... More
