First of all about rooms. I stayed in a 2 roomed single luxe. But it was not equipped well. Moreover they don't have card access so you get a really old fashioned key. The worst thing about the room was that it really smelled tobacco. The second worst was that they don't have enough sockets and they location really confused... More

I spent several days as part of an eductour about for the Alta Krai region. We stayed several days before and after our trip to Biycks et Belokurikha. Basic confort for the room as most of the hotels in this area but clean. As mentioned by another reviewer you can count on the support of the floor attendant. I appreciated... More

This was a two-night stop for us, being the start of the last leg of our trip from the UK to Mongolia by motorcycle. This is what I imagine a typical Soviet-style hotel to be like, a huge building with a large reception and too many staff. The maid on our floor did some washing for us, but at great... More

Just to add to my previous review - their restaurant finally started working 24 hours! What a relief. You finally have a place to eat decently if you arrive late at night. Although the restaurant does not accept cards for some reason, but - it is a long-awaited upgrade nonetheless!

We stayed last week in October of 2012. First time in Russia and was very happy with everything, except nobody spoke English. We were satisfied none the less and would gladly stay again. I love Barnaul and the people. Hope to come back!

A reasonably well price and well situated hotel. The rooms are comfortable for the price range, though the bathroom is very basic. Most of the main areas of Barnaul are within walking distance and the airport is only 20 minutes away (slightly more in peak hour). Late checkout is available and I was informed by the receptionist that you have... More

Stayed there for two nights 2012.06.03-05, and numerous times before while on business trips to Barnaul. The online reservation (as well as cancellation if needed) easy and smooth. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the railway/bus station, which makes it a natural choice if you're coming by train or bus late in the evening as I usually do. Reception... More

The only praise I could say about this hotel is a reception. It's quite modern. And also elevators, of course. But then you take a lot of service I could say soviet. So, you have to check-in and check-out on a floor you live despite you did that at the reception. Then you take a room without an AC and... More

I have an overnight stay before my flight to Moscow. check-in was good and fast, please note that you can ask a room with Victory square view (Ploshchad' Pobedy) with no additional charge. Room was small with bathtub, but clean, soundproof as well. I recoomend you order a room with airconditioning (pay extra 400 RUB = 13 USD), in summer... More

I was with a 8 yo. nephew on my way home from Altai. We spent two weeks in Tyungur (unfortunately, Tripadvisor doesn't show any of it on its map), a small village. We were tired. This hotel is Lonely Planet's pick. Besides, it's the closest to the bus station. Outside the hotel looks disasterous. But inside it's very good. We... More
