I've spent quite a bit of time in jungles in the past mostly camping but my wife wasn't quite sure if she was ready for that so we decided on a more entry level trip to the Zacumbo Lodge for two nights. AJT offered a very good service from the airport onwards. All the staff were really friendly and helpful.... More

We did the 3 day tour as it was my first time in the jungle and I wanted a taster. It was great. The lodge was nice and well set out. Our guide grew up in the area and was very good. We saw pink Dolphins, sloth, monkeys, piranhas, alligators. The pace of the tours was great. One day we... More

I would recommend this tour company to anyone thinking about going to the Colombian/Peruvian sides of the Amazon but I wish I had known somethings going into it. As for the pros - the guides and service are excellent. The food is unoriginal but as good as you could expect for a jungle experience. Some of the guides we had... More

From the time we booked with Amazon Jungle Trips the service was good, and from the time we arrived it was excellent. We were met at the airport and taken to the AJT office where we met Antonio, who explained the trip in detail, gave us our insurance documents and organised payment. We were then taken to our hotel, where... More

We chose Amazon Jungle Trips based on a lot of research as we were nervous about travelling with elderly parents (my husband's dad is nearly 80 and has a heart condition) and although we are seasoned travellers, at heart I reluctantly admit to being a city girl who likes her luxuries and gets a bit daunted by nature and "roughing... As a solo female traveling in Colombia's Amazon region it was the best decision to entrust my childhood dreams of seeing the wonders of the Amazon with Antonio Cruz's company: "Amazon Jungle Trips" which is an older, reputable tour company with years of doing good business with tours. I have carefully cross reference both Bradt and Lonely Planet travel guide... More

If there is any kind of problem or you want to change your planning, they do everything to make your life easier. Then the amazon experience. I am... More

We booked a 5 day 4 night trip with Amazon Jungle Tours. The owner Antonio was extremely helpful and professional while we were planning the trip, and the staff at the office were friendly and extraordinarily helpful with local arrangements and transportation in Leticia. Our guide Ramiro was Ticuna (one of the local Amazon tribes) and was absolutely wonderful he... More

I took my two sons (9 & 12) down to Leticia to take this company's tour of the Amazon and we all had a grest time. Wished we could have stayed more time, but we did dolphin (pink & grey) spotting, piranha fishing, cayman spotting, and some light trekking in the jungle. The lodge itself was enjoyable and the food... More
