The rooms are ok, nothing special and not very modern, but spacy. The staff is very friendly and helpful, Miss Hong is priceless and the tour was worth it, especially because of the lunch that is in the middle of nowhere, without any other tourists. I did not expect that! I appreciated that she told us who to tip (and... More

My family stayed at the Oasis Hotel. We were made very welcome and the service was excellent. The hotel has all you need and we were given personalised service. We were driven around Ben Tre by the owner Ken and shown the sights as a local sees Vietnam. That is priceless. But the highlight for my family was the incredibly... More

This place is wonderful. Lieu and all of the other staff are just lovely. Hoang's tour was terrific... I loved the boat rides through the delta as well as the tours through the incredibly sustainable local "factories". Also had a splendid day riding motorbikes around the area. We wound up extending our stay! Highly recommend.

Located on the river opposite downtown, a great base for exploring the delta by tour or bicycle. Ken, his wife and the staff were more than helpful with info about the area. A shuttle offers free service to the bus station. The room was clean, air-conditioned, and the pool area and hammocks were welcoming after a day of sight-seeing. There's... More

A true gem in a quiet town with LOTS to do! At first it seemed like there wouldn't be much to do in the town - wrong! First night we went to the street market which was nice to explore and we found a pho place to eat (don't eat at the stands near the water, they are known not... More

The Oasis is a small hotel situated just on the other side of the river from the main town. We caught a taxi from the main bus station expecting a trip of around 1km. (we caught a local very cheap bus from Can Tho.........never again, take the vip bus or an equivalent) The hotel advertises that this is the approx... More

We are so pleased we stayed here .Such a great escape from the big city .The air was clean and it was so relaxed.Ken and his wife were super hosts and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. This hotel seems to be the base camp for people travelling to all points around the delta.Ken was a mine of... More

The highlight of a very enjoyable two-day stay was the morning tour with the delightful Ms Hong, who speaks very good English. Starting from the hotel's own jetty, we went up the main river to a brickworks, then into backwaters to visit a coconut processing and coconut candy factories before riding and walking along jungle paths to have an excellent... We travelled independently to Ben Tre by public bus using the Thin Phat Bus company to stay at the Oasis Hotel and do their Mekong Delta tour. This was a great decision. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and welcoming. It is a guest house not 5 star luxury and their charges reflect that . Accomodation is very comfortable... More
