We stayed for 3 nights in a cabin and thoroughly enjoyed our time in a Kakadu. At the Lodge the pool is most welcoming with good shade. The setting is very peaceful and you certainly have a good bit of private space. We would recommend Kakadu Lodge as a good place to stay while exploring The Park. One negative point... More

We booked a room (Lodge) for 2 persons ($90 per night). We arrived one day earlier than planned. Using the phone number given in the email confirmation from Hotels.com we could not get to the hotel. The reception searched and we still got a room. When we opened the door, we found a small dirty room with blankets and pillows... More

Thank you for choosing to stay at Kakadu Lodge. Even though you arrived a day earlier than your initial booking, there should have been clean rooms available for you to occupy. Instances of this nature are extremely rare at this property. Please accept my apologies for the inconvenience that occurred. It was pleasing to read that our newest member of... More

Brett was very welcoming to us even though we rocked in after closing time and also booked our Ubbir /wetlands tour for the next morning there and then. The pool is great - deep enough to be refreshing and we had a lovely meal in the restaurant. Facilities for camping for the 'kids' were great. Overall a lovely place to... More

Thank you for choosing to stay at Kakadu Lodge. Brett was over the moon when he received your positive comments on his customer service, being a Collingwood supporter, he was in desperate need of some cheering up this week. Our restaurant crew were also pleased with your positive comments. We look forward to seeing you again at Kakadu Lodge. Kind... More

A great Caravan park with cabins available. It is the only caravan park with a pool and a great one at that, with a nice little waterfall at the back. Sit and have your meal at the restaurant adjacent to the pool. Great ambience.

A very well run and maintained caravan site; $40 for a powered site, free BBQ facilities with the use of fridge and microwave; great swimming pool with covered shade; this place must be heaving in the dry season and we are very pleased to have gone when we did, very few people and quite charming; good bar and restaurant, although... Thank you for choosing to stay at Kakadu Lodge. It was pleasing to read that you had an enjoyable stay with us. Our cleaners were particularly happy with your positive feedback. The park is very busy from mid June to mid July as you mentioned, luckily for you, you could enjoy the serenity of a Kakadu wet season. We look... More

We're staying at the Kakadu Lodge caravan park which is a great park. In the centre is a pool and a cafe and all the caravan sites are situated around 5 avenues each circling the centre. Great concept. Our first site had a few bats and green ants so we moved to an even better spot the next day. The... More

Although the facilities are good, and the location is great we stayed during the wet season (April 2013) and found the campsites to be all very soggy. Stayed one night and moved on to Cooinda. Grass sites are large and ammenties are clean - but jumping out of the camper into ankle deep soggy grass was not very fun during... More

Thank you for choosing to stay at Kakadu Lodge. It was pleasing to read that you thought our facilities were clean and well maintained, unfortunately we cannot control the weather. Similar to my comments about visiting Litchfield National Park, there are not a lot of accommodation choices in Kakadu National Park if you don't have a camper or a tent. However, if you are looking for hotel style lodging, then Kakadu Lodge is a very good choice. Sure, it's a container style room, but inside it's really nice. A simple,... More

Great for a night or a few while on your travels through the Kakadu. Cabins are clean and fully equipped. Friendly staff. Close to all the sights such as Ubirr that surely has some of the finest rock art around. The Kakadu is great to visit during the ' Build Up', just before the rainy season.

We stayed for 1 night at the campground and despite the fact that the campground is so big, we were not bothered by any kind of noise. The bathroom was clean and best of all, the pool was COOL !! Which after a whole day of sweating and feeling hot, feels just like paradise....
