There are many better restaurants in cat ba than these one. We experienced very poor service. They brought the wrong food and the attitude was arrogant. Besides the food wasn't great either. They also did forget our discount from Asia adventures (which is btw really great, go upstairs).

We stayed in Noble house in early November 2013. The room was nicely decorated with custom built bamboo furniture (unlike the standard at the other hotels). A shared balcony with the central view of the bay and surrounding mountains. The fan was a bit noisy, but that's nothing compared to the music that plays in the evening. The wi-fi was... More

I split a $10 room 3 ways and it worked out great. if you can tolerate the loud music until 1-2am, then it's a great place to stay. Asia outdoors' office is one floor down, the mist popular bar in town two down, and a tasty restaurant on the ground floor.

Perfect spot for solo travellers or groups looking for a bit of nightlife. Right above the Good Bar which is fairly busy at night. can be a bit noisey at night so avoid if you want a relaxing hotel. Great view on the balconies too.

I stayed at the Noble House hotel for three nights and felt like I got good value. It is central to everything and the staff, if they speak English, are very helpful. It's very much a family run hotel. Everything in the room was fine and clean but the noise from the bar is the main issue. It got noisier... More

Having read many of the reviews AFTER staying here its hard to believe they are talking about the same place I stayed. I was here after tourist season so that may have been part of the reason for the great service, but for its location and $15 USD a night you cant go wrong. I feel that there had to... More

We ended up here when, upon arrival, the rooms we booked in the asia-outdoor hotel appeared to be flooded. Appealed by the sea-view, balcony and proximity to the asia-outdoor office (and somewhat desperate because we had to find a room within a few hours during high season), we agreed to pay $20 a night, but soon started to regret it,... Hello ! I was in The Noble House for few nights. The rooms are clean and cheap especially for CatBa Prices (air cond, TV, balcony, fridge...). Hygiene is OK (unfortunately it's not the same in all Vietnam). In the restaurant, vietnamese food and Western food are both good (even Pizza are OK, miraculous for a vietnamese restaurant !). At the... More

For some inexplicable reason this is was the first (and subsequently only) time during the last 2.5 months when my partner and I relied on the Lonely Planet and our first impressions, rather than reading TripAdvisor reviews; lesson learned.  Don't bother with this place.  That we stayed 3 nights was due only to the fact that we were too drained... I'm a fairly flexible traveler, and have put in my time as a backpacker, but now find that I will pay a couple dollars more if it means clean sheets and a bit of quiet to sleep! My friend and I stayed at the Noble House because we went on an Asia Outdoors tour (housed in the same building) and... More
