Some might say super hard..! Average hotel but then Cat Ba is not very interesting for Vietnam. Wouldn't go again. Some good restaurants on the seafront but more expensive here than other parts of Vietnam.

The rooms were a reasonable size and clean but the beds were like Rick they were so hard. We only stayed one night and that was enough. The location of the hotel is good and a very short walk to good bars and restaurant. Breakfast was basic but good value and tasty

Just off the main front street. Some modern features in rooms (eg touch pad lighting switches) but the lasting memory is very hardest mattress I've ever slept on. Only if the hotel can replace its aging mattress I Wil give it six stars. Location is excellent, just walking distance from boat station, breakfast was excellent and rooms were larger than average size in Vietnam. But their mattress were really pathetic like concrete.
