Over the years we have stayed at The Bacchus and eaten there many times and we have always found the staff very friendly, the surroundings well kept and the food good value . Today we had Sunday lunch in the Restaurant (which had been redecorated since we were last there) and it was very nice but if I'm totally honest,... More

Great place for lunch at week end. Good choice of menu and food is delicious with portions generally on the large side. Reasonably priced. Lovely gardens to at and have a drink too! Staff helpful and friendly.

We didn't stay or eat here, but called in a couple of times for a drink in the lounge. Comfortable seating, friendly. helpful staff and a good selection of drinks. The menu looked fine and several people did order food while were were there so I can only surmise that it is of a good standard - certainly the prices... More

A perfectly acceptable hotel with adequate facilities. The room was comfortable and very clean. I'm not sure what some of the previous reviewers were expecting but I travel extensively with work and I was very pleased with the accommodation. The food was very tasty and made a lovely change from the usual chain buffet style breakfasts. In short good value... More

We didn't stay here, but eat twice, and dropped in for drinks another time. Staff, beer, and food all great: the food is particularly good value; while the bar food is typical pub fayre, it's decent quality and good value. The beer selection is good, and well looked after.

The staff are excellent ,most have been their for as long has we can remember and the location of the hotel 200 hundred yards from the beech says it all.... More

A short trip to the Lincolnshire coast was made much more enjoyable by our stay at the Bacchus. It is somewhat distinctive, quirky even, while still being a thoroughly comfortable and well-run establishment. We stayed in a family room over looking the High Street and Beer Garden ; smallish with bunk beds for the children but comfortable and well-provided with... More

What a charming hotel, my partner and I took our dog for a one night stay. Upon our arrival the gentleman checking us in had noted how nervous our dog was (she is a rescue and rather timid) and told us we had been moved to another room for our comfort. The room was larger, and had it's own exit... More
