As i was a seasonal worker in mablethorpe i found Greyburns to be warm and welcoming. I originally booked in for a long weekend while trying to find long term accommodation, but i found my room very clean and comfortable and the NEW management so friendly, i decided to stay the full 20 weeks. I found the landlady of this... More

Pros- nice breakfast, reasonably priced, big rooms Cons- absolutely FREEZING! Everywhere was perishingly cold. When asking the staff to turn the heating on, their reaction isn't exactly friendly, the whole place is just shabby- holes in carpet, wallpaper held on by sellotape, with a stink of old fat throughout the place. The mattress, too, was absolutely awful. You could count... More

I stayed here for two nights, Wow! Family room with en-suite, decorated cheerfully, with TV. Very clean and tidy, a brilliant shower, easy to operate. Fresh fluffy white towels, very nice. A kettle, plenty of tea, coffee, milk and sugar supplied with clean cups, even biscuits. A three course breakfast cooked to perfection, extra's if you required. All served by... More

It is just average. Has good sized family room ensuite. The owners are nice and welcoming. The dining area is a bit untidy, lots of beddings for ironing at the entrance. The breakfast is good, though by the time you leave there all your body will be smelling of fried food as the kitchen is just adjacent.

Greyburns is a friendly, welcoming place to stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff are friendly and the breakfast is wonderful. The guest house has a 5 star rating for hygiene. Our children felt welcome and safe and nothing was too much trouble for the landlady. Would definitely recommend to anyone who has a young family.
