We've stayed here many times en route to Spain, and have only just discovered Trip Advisor! Having read the reviews, they're all absolutely spot on - evidenced by the fact that we recently brought a group of 10 friends to enjoy Kathy and Martin's whole charming experience for a week to use as a base for touring the area. 5... more

Wonderful hosts, Kathy and Martin (and Ruby the dog) welcomed us (and our dog, Molly) to their beautiful home, with tea, coffee and chocolate biscuits in their spacious and pretty gardens. We were lucky enough to have the four poster room with lovely views over more gardens. What a paradise this is! How lucky we feel to have discovered it.... more

A lovely B&B with great food and owners, our room was very attractive and spacious. When my GPS sent us out into the French countryside, Martin came and rescued my wife and I at ten o’clock at night and guided us to the B&B. We spent four nights and enjoyed our visit to the surrounding area very much. Easy drive... more

We have stayed in a few B&B's in France, but this one tops them all. We found "Le Canard" by doing a quick "Google" as we were looking for somewhere new to stay having suffered a few disappointing stays in B&B's, one in particular not that far away from "Le Canard". It's perfectly placed for us, just off the A20... more

A great welcome by the owners, an excellent four poster bed in our room, many animals to play with for our son in the large garden, great food too. That's hospitality! more

Kathy, Martin and Ruby the dog came out to greet us and then Martin carried our bags to our room. It was stunning, with fresh flowers and beautiful linen. We then went to the garden (simply divine) where Martin brought us drinks and nibbles to help us unwind. Kathy was in the kitchen, making a 4 course meal for us... more

On arriving, Kathy and Martin (and Ruby) welcomed us in to their home and I mean "welcomed"! We were shown to our beautiful room, complete with four poster and chaise longue, and once unpacked we headed for the garden. Here we were plied with beer, wine and nibbles and had a chance to relax and unwind from a long day's... more

'Every year we visit France for 3 weeks and make 'La grand boucle en voiture' Since 2001 we stayed every year in a B&B. Since then we visited approxamitely 80 to 90 B&B in France. So I dare say we have any experience and expertise. "Le Canard au Parapluie Rouge" belongs to the top 3 B&B, due to the exceptional... more

Within hours of arriving, sitting in lawn chairs with a bottle of wine, a tray of pistachios and olives, and our books, we asked to extend our stay. We had been a week in Paris and the quiet relaxing atmosphere at Le Canard was a perfect respite from frantic sightseeing! Our beautiful room with its canopy bed and oodles of... more

My sister, her 2 dogs and I stopped over at Le Canard en route for Barcelona in the middle of a big freeze in January. We had the warmest possible of welcomes from Kathy and Martin (and their dog Ruby) with pots of tea on big cosy sofas in front of a blazing fire. Our room was beautiful - the... more
