I'm sorry to say I can't review this B&B because my booking of 4 rooms was cancelled 5 days before arriving, I wasn't even called by the owner only received an email from the site I had booked 2 of the rooms with. When I called to ask what was going on I was told the owner was going in... More

Arrived at the Alpine guest house at 8.30 in the evening. The owner (Jackie) was more than welcoming. The rooms were clean and tidy and had all amenities needed. Breakfast was lovely which set you up for the day. We will definitely stay here again and would also recommend to others. Thanks again Jackie.

My family and I stayed here for 2 nights, we arrived at 9.30pm on a Friday night and were warmly welcomed by the landlady, she showed us to our spacious ensuite bedroom and asked us what time we wanted breakfast. The room was warm and clean and breakfast was served at our requested time. We were made to feel very... More

Having arrived in Redcar for a friends wedding and realising it promised to be a bit of a boozy do, I decided to find somewhere to the stay the night rather than drive home. Just by chance I came across the Alpine which was just around the corner from the church. I was cordially invited in after enquiring about a... More

I have stayed at this Guesthouse many times overs the last few years with my children when visiting friends in the area. We have seen the developments she has made with the rooms putting in Ensuites and the beautiful decor. She has always put herself out for us and her breakfast is the best in the area. We have also... We arrived soaking wet after cycling 75 miles in very punishing conditions and received a very warm welcome from the owner, Jackie, who very kindly dried all of our clothes/gear ready for the morning. The room was newly refurbished with an ensuite and was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and set us up for another day in the... More

Dreadful stay, the room was disgusting, my windowsill was covered in pigeon excrement, with pigeons still nesting outside. There was scaffolding up right next to my window. The land lady is so rude beyond belief, and the smell of marijuana which she smoked on a nightly basis was strong to say the least. Cleaner will bang on your door at... More
