We (a family of 6) stayed with Bradley and Marianna for three nights during a perfect long weekend. They welcomed us warmly and immediately we felt at ease and like this was "home" for the next few days. Marianna even prepared dinner for us 2 out of 3 nights. Haus Schonegg was a wonderful place to stay. The view out our balcony was magnificent. Bradley, Marianna and their children were the perfect hosts, warm and helpful. After 3 days we felt like old friends. We felt very much at home. We loved being up in the mountains, amidst cow pastures and wildflowers yet only a few minutes away from... More

Fantastic stay. Excellent breakfast in the mornings, next to bus stop, sink in every room, and breathtaking views from my room. We even saw the cattle parade down the street next to the hotel. Bradley, Marianna, and their kids were so welcoming. It made us feel like old friends. They all speak excellent English too.

Their children are very special. The area is very quiet and relaxing with the city of Interlaken not far away. We had a rental car but there is also a bus that runs... More

We found Haus Schonegg to be exactly what we needed, after traveling for over 2 weeks in Europe. The setting is breathtakingly beautiful and the family that owns it is very welcoming. The children are extremely polite and warm, with gracious manners, and we found our stay to be delightful. Marianna prepares beautiful and delicious breakfasts, and her husband Bradley... More
