Good location in town with free parking at B&B or plenty of free parking on street. Courteous welcome by Rosie and shown good sized room at front of building. Very clean if slightly tired décor in room and bathroom. However good comfortable beds with amazingly quiet main street outside. Good tea/coffee facilities in room (hubby missed biscuits though!). Bathroom had... More

We spent one night here and were pleased with our choice. We were allocated the family suite although there was only two of us. It has a double bed and two singles in an adjoining room. We found it to be clean and comfortable. I dislike unnecessary ornaments etc (dust gatherers) and quilts on the bed on top of the... More

We (myself and my elderly parents) intended to stay here and were told that we could have a room, the proprietors were not friendly but as there was nowhere else free we decided to stay. When we came back later we were informed that we couldn't stay there for no reason! Other than we can only presume they didn't like... More

We would wholeheartedly recommend staying here. The owners are lovely and will go out of their way to give you a comfortable stay. We stayed at many places during this trip and this is one of the best. Very welcoming for cyclists.

Three of us were taken in at the last minute for a one night stay. We were welcomed warmly by Rosie. Our room was delightful, faced onto the road. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I would not hesitate to stay again if in the area. Susan & co

Clean, comfortable, convenient, welcoming and excellent value for money. The property was perfectly suited to the area and owners could not have been more helpful. Would definitely use again if back in this area and would not hesitate to recommend.

I stayed here for the third time in as many years and found it as welcoming, charming and comfortable as before. Each time has been a different room, this time was the Elm room, a small double-bedded en suite that was clean and fresh and perfectly adequate for my needs (2 night's B&B during a motorcycle tour of the area).... We booked very last minute (on the day in fact), but were very pleased with our choice upon arrival. Norm and Rosie are very welcoming. We stayed in one of the top floor attic rooms with some beautiful exposed wooden beams. The room was clean, warm and full of character. Breakfast was excellent, and included many locally source products. We... More

Beautiful attic room very clean with lovely extra touches and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Breakfast was nice except the homemade bread when toasted it was as hard as rock. I would visit again if you could have normal bread.

My friend and I were walking the Shropshire Way. We arrived at the OBG wet and exhausted. A warm welcome and lots of helpful advice as well as a brilliant shower were very restorative. Comfortable, clean room with nice extra touches.
