Pleasant and helpful staff. Beautiful Bay Front view, basic, clean, quiet and affordable. Near Dry Forest and beautiful Gulligan's Island. Take $4.00 round trip ferry to the island beach or rent a Kayak near the ferry dock and kayak to the island. Take drinking water, or drinks and a lunch or picnic. Bar-B-Q's available.

This is a beautiful, historic hotel. The rooms are small compared to more modern hotels, but clean, high ceilings and lots of character. This was our first stay, but there seemed to be many families who vacation here regularly. Staff is friendly and helpful. The Parador Guanica 1929 is a nice respite from the touristy resorts. The Dry Forest is... More

Have stayed here several times. Overall, imho it is decent to very good value. It is a well maintained historic building from the King Sugar era of the 1930's, and it's nicely situated in a quiet area. Rooms are clean and adequately comfortable with AC working well each time I've stayed there. Staff at the reception desk and in the... More

If you want to get away from all the "touristy" places in Puerto Rico, Hotel Parador Guanica 1929 is the best hotel. The hotel is in a historic building. The A/C was amazing! Our room had a king size bed, a small dining area (2 chairs), a small fridge, TV with cable, and a small bathroom. The staff was friendly... More

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room moderately clean. The property has a solar-powered hot water system, so there was no hot water in the morning. Saw mosquitoes in the room. Breakfast on the porch was nice.

This hotel is in a lovely historic building. The small town of Guanica is very cute as well, and has a nice little beach to swim at. This hotel also has a nice little restaurant that we enjoyed for dinner and breakfast. Their staff is very friendly and helpful as well. I would highly suggest this location to anyone looking... We decide under my wife past experience visit this cozy Resort for one night stand yesterday. I dad not a lot of expectations from the poace but it was great. The old style building like a Puertorrican Hacienda and the view of the lagoon from the balconie were a A plus since the star. The service was good and the... More

The place is an old historical structure that doesn't mean a lot when you saw it the first time. But the food in this hotel is great! Very good service and a good place to stay, to rest and to visit all the places around the area such as Gilligan's island, the dry forest, the Praguera and many others interesting places... More

A place of solace, quietness and rest. If this is what you are looking for this is the place for you. I've been here several times and I'm always please. The restaurant opens on the weekends only and wine cellar next door is a must to visit. This is not luxury hotel is more a bend and breakfast with lots... More
