This hotel is perfectly placed to explore Edinburgh, attend an international at Murrayfield or relax! We found the service was as pleasant and efficient as on other stays, we like the hotel, rooms, and facilities. Everything is service led and with a smile. The pool is super, and it is nice to park up easliy surrounded by open spaces and... More

On arrival very easy booking in and very helpful concierge who ordered our cab to the city centre. (£21). Our room was comfy spacious although the price was somewhat inflated for the weekend. Stayed one night, very comfy amazing breakfast and extremely relaxing. If staying again would organise a game of golf. Hopefully back in two years time.

The hotel is on a large tract of land and is rather impressive when you first arrive. A friend stayed in one of the suites (in the original bldg) - it was huge! We were in a regular room that was soooo hot! We ended up having to move rooms because neither of us could sleep (it was not terribly... More

We stayed here one night before heading into the City Centre. When we drove up to the Hotel we were very impressed. The building is old and this is what you feel throughout the Hotel. It brings a lovely ambiance to the property. We had dinner in the restaurant which was average and sadly couldn't get to sleep because of... More

We had spent 2 nights at the Dalmohey Hotel and it was truly an experience. Being our first time in Edinburgh, we were well taken care of as the reception desk would go out of their way to advise re routes, taxi services, parking charges and etc. All the information we needed during our stay. The moment we stepped inside,... More

A friend and I started our dream vacation of Scotland and Ireland in Edinburgh. The hotel was wonderful. Staff very helpful. Room clean, and wonderful again. Nice little comfy bar that our tour group met for a pre-tour drink and get together. The only complaint and at the time it was a big one for us, was we had traveled... More

Stayed here for 3 nights and attended a Burn's Supper event. The food was fantastic both at the function and other meal times. The rooms are well appointed and the beds comfortable. I would recommend spending some time in the beautiful cocktail bar with it's fabulous open fire.

Had afternoon tea in Dalmahoy in their lovely lounge with a most welcome roaring fire. Everything was perfect. The staff were helpful and could not do enough for us, offering refills of tea throughout. The spread was excellent with sandwiches, scones and lovely sweet treats, all freshly prepared and 'different'. A tremendous experience and keenly priced as well.

We stayed here for 2 night for a business event, I booked a suite which was to the Marriott standard that we know and love, Breakfast was great with the usual selection of hot and cold choices. The staff were all attentive and interested in their jobs. Unfortunately we did not use the leisure centre but I have to say... More
