After visiting St Michael's Mount we stopped in here for a drink and late lunch ( 4.10). We watched the tide come in and took in the view. The food was excellent ( crab sandwich and beef burger) and the staff very friendly. We did not stay at the hotel as just passing through to visit the Mount. However, would... More

We arrived mid afternoon , found the parking area easily and were greeted by the first of many friendly, cheerful and helpful staff. The room was good size and modern, huge comfortable bed and lovely bathroom and shower. We decided to have lunch in the hotel and explore later, another good decision as we enjoyed a huge tasty crab sandwich.... More

We only had one night at the hotel, but would have loved to stay for longer. We were impressed by the helpfulness of staff, arranging our rooms next to each other (rooms 5 & 6) with a shared balcony and view of St Michael's Mount. The hotel had been newly refurbished and the rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a... More

There are so many good things about this place. Kudos to whomever designed the re-do because they did a fabulous jobs. I think maybe my favorite part were the rooms. We had the family suite and our extended family stayed in the Sea View Suite with balcony. What great rooms. The family suite had two separate bedrooms, one with bunk... More

Spent two weeks in Marazion and ate in here a lot! The location is amazing, stunning views, excellent service, gorgeous food and great value for money. Couldn't fault it. Would highly recommend! Can't wait to go back next year.

We chose the Godolphin Arms to celebrate my birthday. From to the moment we arrived until, reluctantly, we departed, we were welcomed and made to feel special. Our room, number 10, was fabulous. Dual aspect with comfortable chairs in the bay window with fantastic views along the coast and a smaller window with magnificent views of the Mount. From the... More

We have just returned from this hotel. It was a lovely two day stay with beautiful views over to St Michaels Mount. To sit at breakfast looking out of the restaurant, with the glass wall removed overlooking the sea was a memorable experience. The food, rooms and staff were all to be recommended. We would return .

The Godolphin is one of those places that you wished you'd always known about. From the moment we arrived and were shown to our room by a very polite lady, to the minute we left we were very well looked after. The team (of which there were many) were all really friendly and concerned that you had the best of... More

Good location and parking good. Was disappointed not to have a room view over the mount despite request but room clean and good size bathroom. Ate in restaurant second night and food was very average and room for improvement. I should say the same about the staff.!. Excluding one excellent barman who put himself out for us on our arrival... Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Godolphin Arms is on the water’s edge of Mount’s Bay along a two mile stretch of beach in the historic market town of Marazion, West Cornwall. It overlooks the beautiful St Michael’s Mount, with one of the most magnificent beachside views in the country.Following a major renovation inside and out, the Godolphin Arms has recently reopened its doors unveiling a warm and welcoming beachside inn – a place to eat, drink or stay and explore the unspoilt beauty of the South West coast. Our stunning coastal location has inspired the design, bringing the natural beauty of the beach outside in with relaxed, mellow living spaces and a stunning centrepiece - a two storey light-bathed glass and zinc dining area opening out onto a balcony upstairs and a terrace downstairs. Walk straight in off the beach to our colourful and chilled-out beach bar, linger on the beachside terrace with friends or relax and unwind on the comfy sofas and chairs by the woodburner. Eating at the Godolphin Arms is a relaxed and informal affair and we offer an all-day menu to be enjoyed whatever the occasion or mood. Our food philosophy is simple; we want to provide freshly cooked food that tastes delicious, is beautifully presented and showcases the quality and seasonality of local Cornish produce.Whether you choose to eat, drink or stay in one of our ten en-suite bedrooms, the team will be delighted to welcome you and will do all they can to ensure your stay with us is both memorable and enjoyable. ... more   less
