My Husband and I took our Children here for a meal and we weren't disappointed. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful view and were served very quickly and the food arrived in no time! Childs meals were a good size and tasty! Only downside was food and drinks are a bit pricey.

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a lovely time. the restaurant served great food including wonderful breakfasts and all of this against the backdrop of the stunning views of St Michaels Mount. One small negative was that our room was below the bar and at the end and start of shifts we had a variety of cleaning noises... More

Very nice location and food pleasant enough however the room is a bit tired and at £220 for the suite overpriced in my opinion. All the staff we met were very nice however the check-in is more like an office than a concierge area and was not a good first impression. Car park convenient once you have worked out where... More

Really pleased you enjoyed your stay but we are an Inn and not a hotel and our reception is also a working open plan office. We do our best to meet our guest expectations but it is important to realize we are a beach-side inn and do not market ourselves as a hotel. More

The Hotel is more a restaurant with some (11) rooms above it. The steps to get to the rooms are not for the faint hearted. Our room was comfortable - the bed good and the bathroom good. This is not a cheap room either - and we did not have a view of the ocean - the street and the... More

Popped in here to sample the menu but I left with in 5 minutes, the extortionate menu prices and small portion sizes of food I observed coming out of the kitchen. You would be lucky to see change from £50. Sorry guys you need to rethink the menu for the working class and not the millionaires.

We stayed for 5 nights in the second week of May. I can understand previous comments about a lack of personality in the hotel. Undoubtedly the top attraction of this hotel / restaurant is the magnificent view of St Michael's Mount and all the entertaining comings and goings on the beach and causeway. So it is understandable that the hotel... More

We visited two years ago and gave a glowing review, sadly we can't do the same following this visit. The refurb is lovely, absolutely we can't fault the decor and the big windows/doors, it's light and bright and airy but.... It lacks atmosphere and character. The other thing we were slightly disappointed with was the limited menu. Far less choice... More

We have been overwhelmed by the positive response to our refurbishment and I am really sorry it did not impress you as it has the majority of our guests. I am pleased that you said that you would return and I hope on a repeat visit you pick up on the buzz and excitement the changes have created. We now... More

Don't use Booking.com to book you room here. It costs significantly more to use this service as the Hotel recoups the commission that Booking.com charges them by turning 'bed and breakfast' into just 'bed'. The argument that they recoup the commission by removing the breakfast was just slightly too rehearsed, so I presume its something that the hotel staff deal... More

We offer a variety of rates from room only to bed & breakfast depending on time of year and type of room. We do encourage all of our guests to book direct so they get the best possible rates. I am really surprised that you did not appreciate the coffee machine as our guests rave about the opportunity to have... More

Having visited Cornwall for many years, and eaten here in the past, we decided to treat ourselves to a few nights stay in the hotel. Brilliant decision- lovely room - very well appointed, queen size bed, lovely bathroom with walk-in shower and free-standing bath, tea/coffee making facilites(with 'proper' coffee machine) with fresh milk in the small fridge. The meals are... More

Splendid meal at the end of our week holidaying in Cornwall. The food was timely and well-presented. Menu would benefit from more varied options for vegetarians, but otherwise a lovely meal. Great mojitos.
