Stayed last night in room 5, fantastic room, very quiet and top quality views from the balcony. Having worked in hotels myself it I know how hard it is to get everything right, the godolphin attention to detail is very good. It's top end budget but you get what you pay for. Well done

Just returned from a fabulous short break (2 nights) at the Godolphin Hotel. I have stayed here before the revamp and the unbeatable location has always drawn me back. This visit was particularly special, the welcome was unmatched and genuine attention paid to our dog enhanced the relaxing atmosphere. Even the ladies who did the care taking made a fuss... More

We only had coffee and a couple of afternoon teas in the restaurant which has superb views and found the young staff attentive but the bar service a bit on the slow side . The cream tea was not the best I've had , no excuse for not using a local jam and the clotted cream was in a sealed... More

The Godolphin Arms has stood here on the St Michael's Mount causeway for years. Last year this friendly pub caught the contagion of gentrification that is endemic in certain parts of Cornwall that chase the tourist pound. After a major revamp it emerged no longer a local pub more a restaurant with drinks. Pop in for a drink and your... More

We checked trip advisor first as we wanted to be sure if a good experience and it did not disappoint. The service was smiley, attentive and just right, the food was good, they were very kid friendly and the view was amazing. All in all a great evening thank you to a well trained team and a well oiled machine... More

I loved every moment of my stay at the Godolphin. I had the room with the bay window view of St Michael's Mount and it was worth the extra cash, I sat there for hours watching the tide come in, or go out, or the sun set. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom modern and the in room tea... More

Magical views to St. Michael's Mount make this a special experience. Our room - Room 2 - was beautifully kitted out with a lovely bathroom. Towels, bowls and biscuits were provided for the 2 dogs - and we had our own entrance so didn't have to take the dogs through the hotel. The staff were welcoming and we ate on... More

It took a while for the young girl in reception to acknowledge our arrival, the start of a 2 night stay to enjoy the view and a visit to St.Michaels Mount. When we were given the key to our room we were told we would have to move our car to that same number allotted parking space. We explained we... More

My wife and I stayed at the Godolphin Arms for a midweek night, I had been wanting to stay there for some time having stayed in many of the Marazion lodgings and it did not disappoint. Yes, its at the top end of the market but you can see why. Unrivalled views of St Michaels Mount and Marazion Village, a... More

We arrived mid afternoon , found the parking area easily and were greeted by the first of many friendly, cheerful and helpful staff. The room was good size and modern, huge comfortable bed and lovely bathroom and shower. We decided to have lunch in the hotel and explore later, another good decision as we enjoyed a huge tasty crab sandwich.... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Godolphin Arms is on the water’s edge of Mount’s Bay along a two mile stretch of beach in the historic market town of Marazion, West Cornwall. It overlooks the beautiful St Michael’s Mount, with one of the most magnificent beachside views in the country.Following a major renovation inside and out, the Godolphin Arms has recently reopened its doors unveiling a warm and welcoming beachside inn – a place to eat, drink or stay and explore the unspoilt beauty of the South West coast. Our stunning coastal location has inspired the design, bringing the natural beauty of the beach outside in with relaxed, mellow living spaces and a stunning centrepiece - a two storey light-bathed glass and zinc dining area opening out onto a balcony upstairs and a terrace downstairs. Walk straight in off the beach to our colourful and chilled-out beach bar, linger on the beachside terrace with friends or relax and unwind on the comfy sofas and chairs by the woodburner. Eating at the Godolphin Arms is a relaxed and informal affair and we offer an all-day menu to be enjoyed whatever the occasion or mood. Our food philosophy is simple; we want to provide freshly cooked food that tastes delicious, is beautifully presented and showcases the quality and seasonality of local Cornish produce.Whether you choose to eat, drink or stay in one of our ten en-suite bedrooms, the team will be delighted to welcome you and will do all they can to ensure your stay with us is both memorable and enjoyable. ... more   less
