Cabo Pulmo is a Marine Protected Area (MPA), considered to be the most successful in the world. They shut down fishing in 1995 when the Cabo Pulmo National Marine Park was established and since then both the diversity of marine life and the numbers of marine animals have increased tremendously. This is the reason you come to Cabo Pulmo. We... More

My husband, son and I recently spent a week in Cabo Pulmo. My husband has been diving since the 1970's, my son had never tried it. My husband dove with the resort a bunch of times, and had fabulous dives each time. He has been diving all over the world, and was extremely impressed with the fish life - the... More

I did both my Open Water certification and Advanced certification here in July and it was awesome! Sasja was a great instructor and the diving in Cabo Pulmo is incredible. Sasja guided me through almost all of the great dive sites around Cabo Pulmo and made me feel super comfortable with every site. Just a few of the incredible sitings:... More

An amazing experience and the guides were great! Claudio, the photographer took gorgeous pictures of our dive. The water was clear, the amount of marine life and coral was outstanding! The staff is very helpful and very knowledgable. We also ate above the dive center and also it was great! We highly recommend this place if you want an amazing... More

The road in can be very rough. About 11 miles of huge pot hole road followed by 3 miles of dirt road. Luckily it hardly ever rains here and you are on the edge of the world so just slow down and navigate because your tires will thank you. Also its beautiful and well worth the drive. Very safe but... I visited Cabo Pulmo June 11-14 2015. The resort is remote and there is not much else to do outside of the ocean. The rooms are Eco - casitas , they are solar powered and have kitchens as well. They are simple but effective. There is air conditioning available in some units for $20 a day to run the generator,... More

We were staying in San Jose but wanted to explore the East Cape so we rented a jeep and took the long road along the coast and found our way to Cabo Pulmo. We stayed in bungalow #6 and fell in love with the area. The beach is wonderful, the people are fabulous and we didn't want to leave.

Our vacations are now interconnected and luxurious. That is what makes the Cabo Pulmo area and this wonderful beach resort a wonderful and unique experience. The little bungalows are powered with propane and solar panels. And no Wi-fi anywhere though if you must cellular data is available. Enjoy the solitude and walking in the sand. And quiet evenings and magnificent... More

We had so much fun staying here. Try to book at least three nights as it does take some time to get there. If you rent one of the little houses, you will be equipped to cook or grill so plan ahead. The restaurant has great food, drinks, and service. Very low key and authentic feeling. Snorkeling is great and... More
