The diving is heavily controlled by the national park rules, but the opportunity to dive through these waters are very special. Pacific Ocean meets Caribbean. Two tank morning dive. Nitrox not offered. Adorable villas with full kitchens. Need to shop in San Jose del Cabo before heading north. Not many options available for restaurants & shopping. No wifi in rooms.

After driving two hours along east cape road (beware of water-filled potholes the width of the road), our group of 10 was happy to finally arrive at our destination. Having spent the previous week at the Sheraton la hacienda resort, the bungalows were a little underwhelming at first. But, after walking around the small village of cabo pulmo, it became... More

We stayed in the stone casita #3A for 5 nights and it was absolutely lovely! I found it peaceful, comfortable and beautifully appointed with gorgeous Guatemalan and Mexican textiles and talavera dishes. Even the pull cords on the lamps were beautiful! And the thatched roof gave the whole place a deliciously fresh organic scent. (Well except for the bathroom, but... More

We booked a snorkeling tour with them, this review for the snorkeling trip, and please note this place is definitely more than a 2, 2 is just on my own experience. Pro: * Friendly staff * The captain is experienced in finding school of fish Things to be aware (as they may not be your concern, so I'm not labeling... More

A nice, friendly little resort with a good dive shop and restaurant. Great snorkeling and diving opportunities, and comfortable cabinas. Be prepared to disconnect as the wifi here is typically unavailable. In many ways a blessing, as it helps you to slow down and disengage from the virtual world but still annoying for the digital necessities of modern life like... More

We had a fantastic, calming experience at Cabo Pulmo, a small dusty town in the middle of the Cabo Pulmo World Heritage Site. Cabo Pulmo is a dense little village with possibly 200 residents, including expats. The village has a few wandering cows, horses and dogs and the people are especially friendly. One of us was a diver and the... More

my experience here was awful. The staff was rude and deceptive. The restaurant "mistakenly" charged me 1000$ us dollars and then refused to return the money. They promised me to cancel the charge and once I left they stopped responding to my emails. They dont tell you that they charge in US dollars at a RIDICULOUS exchange rate. And when... More

If you like crowd, shops and big resorts, don't bother, that's the wrong place, go to Cabo San Lucas. But if you are looking for nature, authenticity and simplicity, then you can book right away. Lodging is great, clean, functional and comfortable. The restaurant is nice, good food, amazing service. The staff matches perfectly the place, friendly, efficient and helpful... More

The resort is a great place to stay. The staff is helpful and friendly. I recommend doing the boat snorkel trip once and then diving from the beach the rest of the time. One warning: In the winter the North wind can cause waves and cancel most snorkeling for a couple of days at a time. One beach location, 10... More

Comfortable room with atmosphere (thatched roof, gardens), dive shop on premises, good all-inclusive meal plan, helpful service from resort staff. Preferred shuttle service from airport (Carlos) absolutely reliable. Location, great diving, night sky, non-touristy atmosphere all added to the enjoyment of our trip.
