Now - I visited Cabo Pulmo 30 years ago and it was a quiet and totally undeveloped place. Now there is a little community and several centres offering diving. As an experienced diver of over 50 years of diving including running my own diving operations in various parts of the world I was somewhat disappointed with our trip. Our visit... More

First I want to say that the term "resort" can be misleading. This is not one of those time share Mexican resorts that cater to vacationers as opposed to travelers. There is no happy hour or volleyball game in the pool. The is no swim up bar in a giant pool. There are critters here and there. There is no... More

We stayed here while we did our scuba diving training and we were very disappointed with this place, the resort rents available privately owned cottages as if it was a hotel, we change cottages twice due to a mice infestation, so prepare yourself to bunk with mice!

This gem is not for everyone. But, if you like unspoiled beauty, endless beaches, warm weather friendly people and excellent snorkelling and diving this is the place to be! The village is crime free (you don't need to lock your doors). There are four restaurants in the village that serve very good authentic mexican food. Cell phone and wyfi are not... More

My wife and I spent three nights in Casita #14 which is near the back of the resort. Casita was very clean and comfortable. Mattress was a little hard, but I'll take a hard mattress any day over a soft one. We came here to relax so it was perfect. Crazy quiet except for the birds and the ocean washing... More

We hadn't made reservations ahead of time so were pleased to find the little casita in which to stay. It was cute but a bit high priced for our budget. We stayed anyway and had a great time. Eco bungalow #3B was private and cute. Just fit 2 people. Very nice gardens and sitting area. Would have been nice to... More

Stayed at Cabo Pulmo Beach Resort in March 2014 for 4 nights, having had to move from another accommodation in Cabo Pulmo we'd been very happy at for 9 nights. We stayed in Deluxe Bungalow #10. The complex is a little odd for such a freeform town: 4 or so straight rows of casitas and bungalows marching back from the... More

My family of three flew into San Jose del Cabo Airport rented a car went to the local Walmart and stocked up on supplies. I did my research before we even left which helps for a better vacation! It is about a hr. drive to Cabo Pulmo. The last 6 mi. of the drive is a dirt road.....so if you... More

If you are looking for a remote place to relax on a deserted beach, watch whales, dive or snorkel, you will love it here. If you want to be hassled by vendors, spend tons of money or stay out partying all night, you will not love it. It is a get away spot. Nice place for long walks, swmming, and... More

Visited Cabo Pulmo in Mid January, mainly to do some snorkeling. It's not much of a resort as a great place to rent a bungalow. the bungalows are charming, have the essentials, and are good for chilling out. The water was cold in January! The snorkel/dive shop attached were helpful, and they rented wet suits. Really chill. Nearby is a... More
