This was our 2nd stay at Le Clot and I cannot recommend it enough. We stayed for 5 days this June and it was a relaxing, delightful time spent in the French countryside. Colin and Stephanie made our group feel incredibly welcome. Stephanie's food is superb. Colin's local knowledge helped us discover wonderful restaurants and food markets nearby. Le Clot... More

we stayed here in July as a family. We had some trouble finding it but once we arrived that was quickly forgotten. It was raining when we arrived and i wondered had I made the right decision as we had left sunny languedoc. Stephanie, Colin and of course Max the wonder dog were fantastic. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and great company.... More

Those who read my reviews will know that I can be critical, but even the most exacting critic would find it hard to criticise much here. The hosts were so good that after a day we felt as though we had known them for years as friends. There were such interesting conversations over a drink before dinner in the magnificent... More

My wife and I stayed here Sept. 22, 2012 and had a wonderful experience. The room was on the first floor of a refurbished stone shed and was all that a room should be. The dinner in the evening was superb with local wine and cheese in a beautiful large room on the second floor of the refurbished shed. What... More

Had a really lovely short stay here in June 2012. It was all very well kept and very quaint. The pool area was a little haven and the dinners were awesome and the hosts as warm and sunny as the weather we had. All in all, highly recommended for a relaxing time. Also, Max the dog is adorable (if a... More

We had a wonderful 5 nights at Le Clot. Our ensuite room was lovely, so quiet., and with such a comfy bed it was hard to get up in the morning. We had fantastic food, Stephanie is an amazing cook and both Stephanie and Colin are excellent hosts and make you so welcome in their beautiful farmhouse. The pool and... More

Le Clot has much to offer both for adults and children. First of all the accommdation, food and wine are excellent. The hosts are exceptional and we were made extremely welcome from the moment of our arrival. The highlight of our stay was how much our children aged 14, 12 & 9 enjoyed themselves, helping with the hens, picking fruit... More

As we wend our way through France we always try to spend at least a couple of nights with Colin and Stephanie, even if it means a detour. There's always a warm welcome, accompanied by Max (the world's friendliest dog), fantastic meals made with home-grown and local produce, a beautiful home and pool in an idyllic spot overlooking the Viaduc...
