We stayed here in May 2015 when the average day time temperature was 48 degrees Celsius and night temps in the high 30’s . Positives A good location close to one of the entry gates – the lodge claims it is exclusive use but other vehicles use the gate as well. The entry process was however quick but the drive... More

Dear CindyT In response to your recent posting on TigerTrails Jungle Lodge we would like to point out a number of false and misleading statements. Your comments that we had never booked you on any full day safari is false as you would have never been able to go twice to the park if the safaris were not booked. The... More

Excellent location, very friendly, great food, really nice setting. It helped that we saw 18 different tigers in 8 days, as well as leopard, sloth bear, wild dogs and very many birds, deer, monkeys etc, but the setup of the place made it all possible. The drivers, guides, naturalists and lodge staff were all excellent.

The place is within the national park, a great position, they arranged jeeps for the park and provided naturalists who were very helpful and knowledgeable, two safaris a day are possible as the park is closed between 10am and 3pm. In the central park area it can get a little crowded with jeeps however this is the best place to... More

This place is a stand alone lodge in Kutwanda area of Tadoba. The land co joins the forest and there is no fencing worth the name. We could hear tigers roaring in the vicinity at night which can be unnerving for non wild life enthusiasts. Food is typical Indian home food. Accommodation is basic and neat but priced exorbitantly at... More

If you're looking for the perfect wildlife experience, Tiger Trails is the place to go to whether for a short 3 day weekend or a longer stay. The lodge is situated in a spectacular part of the forest not 5 minutes from the gate of the Tadoba reserve. What impressed me the most was the size of the rooms, the... More

Being my first Safari experience in India I was pleasantly suprised at this jewel of a lodge in the middle of nowhere. The room was large, clean as was the bathroom. We had a balcony attached which was a wonderful place to sit and relax after the safari and enjoy the silence. The staff were friendly and solicitous. The safaris... More

This was our second visit to Tiger Trails. The location and the wilderness of the lodge makes this special. The lodge is virtually in the core area and all sorts of wildlife cross through the grounds on a regular basis, The week before we got there visitors saw two tigers on the grounds. They had made a kill. They were... More

I booked into visit Tiger Trails over the long holiday weekend, and the whole trip was a disappointment and a disaster. As requested, I had attempted to do a bank transfer before arrival, but due to the Indian bank holiday the money had not arrived. I had been told that only the top end bungalows were available, so had paid... More

I was looking for a place with lots of space - without manicured gardens, opportunity to walk and sit out to spot wildlife. This is what I found! Would highly recommend it for any keen wildlifers - the location could not be better and the team were tops. There are great water bodies on this large property and a machan... More
