My wife and I and two friends stayed here for a week, the first week in July. We loved the location, the gite and the fabulous views. It was our first trip to France and we loved the whole experience. At nearly 70 years of age I feel like I have wasted many years when I could have been experiencing... More

My husband and I have just returned from our honeymoon at La Ferme de la Tour, and we are already planning when to go back. We stayed in La Fournil, the one bedroom gite, and it was heaven! The gite was spotlessly clean and contained absolutely everything we needed for a wonderful weeks break. We had our own terrace looking... More

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at La Ferme de la Tour. Chris and Kate couldn't have been more helpful and friendly during our stay. The accommodation was simply lovely (we stayed in Le Fournil - the gite for 2 people) - a real home away from home (I wanted to take the kitchen and views home with me!) The... More

We stayed in the Grange in late April for six days. Chris and Kate could not have been more welcoming or helpful. The unit was spotless and extremely well equipped. No problems whatsoever with the WiFi. The area around Sarlat is filled with history and wonderful scenery. You MUST have a car but driving is not difficult. Would go back... More

We spent 5 days here after several weeks in Paris and Nice and it was just great. The first impressive thing was Chris's directions to get there - it is out of the way and we never would have found it without them. What you find is a quiet, well presented property with a large grassy yard and some games... More

We are an Aussie family of 5 who spent a wonderful 4 days at Le Ferme de la Tour. The accommodation was very comfortable and our 3 sons enjoyed the large expanse of lawn, sporting equipment and pool. We all enjoyed the local walks and the very rural setting. The owner and his wife were good hosts and we appreciated... More

Thank you Chris and Kate for an excellent holiday, we felt very welcomeat your site. The quality of the accomodation impressed us. The wood burners made our cottage feel very cosy and homely. It is a very peaceful location with spectacular views across the valley at any time of the day. We will be back!!

We wouldn't have done this review were it not for noticing two adverse reviews when we logged in before contacting the owners in order to book a repeat visit in 2011. I think it must be a case of horses for courses. For our part we wanted a beautiful peaceful location where we could have a real holiday from the... More
