We had an amazing time in this B&B. A beautiful house with large rooms and bathrooms, a little kitchen with a fridge, wine from the domain itself, a garden surrounded by vineyards, fields and cherry trees, deck chairs and tables troughout the garden, a large quiet swimming pool and a very friendly host: what else do you need to be... This is a real gem. I highly recommend Domaine la Carraire as a base for exploring Provence and the Luberon. Sophie was extremely helpful and her breakfasts were superb. The stone chateau is located on a quiet country road surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. A pleasant walk into the village of Lauris.

A year earlier, we stayed in three different places when visiting Provence. We decided that entailed too much moving, so this year we decided to pick one home base for six days. Domaine la Carraire was a wonderful choice, with a quiet, homey feel and an excellent hostess in Sophie, whose breakfast offerings are top-notch and whose restaurant recommendations are... More

and tranquility...The old stone manor house is lovely with access to salon and kitchen. Easy to find off main road, but up a lane and is quiet with lovely views of pond and cherry trees in front and vineyards in back,,They make and sell their own wines here too. A great breakfast of fruit, yogurt , cereal rolls ,juice and... More

A very comfortable, convenient, restful and accommodating B & B with a rich French history. We visited in April as the the cherry trees were blooming and enjoyed the spring greening in the country side. Sophie's hospitality and breakfasts were truly a highlight in our visit.Fortunately she spoke English and provided us with directions to villages and locations of interest.We... More

We spent a week in this spacious French country house. Comfortable, welcoming, stylish with a typically French rustic charm. Very large room overlooking vinyards and fruit trees. Wonderful gardens with easy access swimming pool, plenty of seating for al fresco dining. Sophie, the hostess is a great cook and happily provides the most fabulous breakfast with home baked cakes and... More

I have to start with Sophie's breakfast - she is clearly a superb cook. Tasty homemade jams (recommend the cherry which is made from the fruit on the tree beside the pool), honey from a neighbour up the road, big pots of coffee/hot chocolate, bread, brioche and one day home made madeleines as well as fruit, goats cheese yoghurt etc.... What a beautiful place to stay! We can fully recommend staying at this wonderfully authentic Domaine set within the adorable Luberon vineyards and cherry orchards. Sophie will make you most welcome and serves the most gorgeous breakfast. You will need a big appetite however. This really sets you up for the day...a must! The room we had was most spacious...
