Location Blissful & gardens beautiful. Our Little Home was immaculate. The "Boys" were fanastic. Very knowledgeable, there was no question that they couldn't answer. Marcello is a Fabulous cook . Our stay at Casa Portagioia was short but in that time our hosts were friendly, helpful and curteous. The room was excellent: clean and finished to higher specification than one usually finds in Italy. Stayed three beautiful days and nights. Room was modern but with the rustic charm of an Italian countryside villa. Bed was the most comfortable ever for a bed and breakfast. Hosts were very welcoming and quick to provide for any special needs or requests. Breakfast was delightful looking over the Tuscan countryside. Can't wait to go back. Would highly recommend.... more

If you are going to Tuscany, stay here. The accomodations are lovely, set amongst vineyards, olive groves and manicured grounds. Terry and Marcello are wonderful hosts, gracious, warm and welcoming. We enjoyed every minute at Casa Poragioia and our only regret was not booking here longer than 4 nights. We'd love to return someday for a longer visit. more

We stayed he back in September last year, was amazing. Terry and Marcello, were so helpful and friendly. The apartment we stayed in was clean, quite and more like a five start hotel. The local food and wine they serve is of an excellent standard, just wised we could have stayed longer…. It is perfectly situated for trips to Florence... more
