Stay in Ah Moy and really enjoyed it. Lovely place, well maintained , fully equipped and very clean. Nice walks around to nearby lake and great space for kids to run around. Alpacas just in front of the cottage and host are very nice to let our kids feed and touch the animals. There were eggs, bread and ham provided... More

So happy that we stayed in Ah Moy cottage , the cottage was spotlessly clean had everything we needed and more. The hosts Graham and Christine were so lovely friendly and knowledgeable, they have achieved so much and deserve all of the positive feedback. We saw lots of wildlife and wish we were there right now. Big thankyou .

We stayed for 3 nights at the Tin Dragon Trail Cottages and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We were a party of 6 and booked one of the 2 bedroom cottages and a spa studio cottage. The cottages were immaculate and very well provisioned - we had no need to buy the condiments we had stocked up on in St... More

My wife and I stayed for two nights in January. I picked their 2 night Romantic getaway package and stayed in their Chintock cottage. The cottage was a beautiful brick and stone building surrounded by a native garden. Although the cottages are close together, we still felt like we had complete privacy and that we were the only ones there... More

One of the most enjoyable stays we have ever had; we stayed four nights. The cottages are extremely well furnished and equipped. Our bed was very comfortable and warm. The kitchen was well fitted out with quality utensils, an excellent stove and a large, quiet fridge. The interior is tastefully decorated and conveniently furnished. You can just walk in and... A definite "must stay" for anyone traveling in northeast Tasmania. The cabins have been lovingly restored, are most comfortable, and are beautifully appointed. Be sure to take the Heritage Walk and allow the unique metal work to give you an insight into the lives of the Chinese tin miners who labored on this property so many years ago. Graham, Christine... We stayed for four nights this time and could have stayed for another week ! This place is so enchanting and peaceful by the river surrounded by trees and fields. Christine, Graham and James are wonderful hosts. The cabins are all lovely, well appointed and very comfortable. Highly recommended !

In May 2014 I took my partner away for a romantic weekend getaway for our one year anniversary... I am writing this review a year and a half later having just discovered this great site, but felt the need to write about how amazing we found this place! It was peaceful and quiet, the owners lovely and answered any questions... More

I took my man away for a much needed relaxing weekend away, and it was also his birthday, so it was a surprise. I found this lovely cottage online and decided to try it out. The owners were friendly and once we saw the cabin we fell in love with it. It has everything you need and is private for... More

From the minute we arrived life slowed down for us.. The 4 nights we stayed at Tin Dragon couldn't have been more perfect. From arrival to departure the stay was amazing. The grounds, hosts, location and accommodation ticked all the boxes. My other half loved fly fishing 6 hours a day while I enjoyed doing..... Nothing!!! Relaxing by the fire,... More

Thank you Allirabrooke so much for your feedback. It makes us very happy to know that you enjoyed your stay with us. I am pleased that you took the opportunity to spend time on the river near our cottages. I imagine there will be many trout caught and bar-be-qued this season! and of course the river is just the thing... More
