The welcome you receive when you arrive by Graham and Christine and their very capable son James sets you up for a most wonderful experience that will not be long enough. We (a couple) stayed here for 3 nights in Jan 2015. The hosts were very lovely - up for a chat but also didn't intrude on our privacy. We stayed in the small cottage that was a bit cheaper than the others because the outside hadn't been fully finished (but this made no difference to us, just a few cosmetic... More

We stayed four nights in Ah Moi Cottage in late November. Christine and Graham and their son james were very friendly , caring and helpful. You can learn a lot from them about sustainability and challenges of leaving in north east Tasmania. The cottages are very beautifully made and clean and it has everything that you need .the location is... More

My husband and I spent a week in this idyllic setting in September this year. We were warmly welcomed by Graham and Christine and shown into Ah Moy cottage with its well provisioned little kitchen. The gas log fire was delightful and cosy and the bed very comfortable. We used their canoe in the stream behind the cottages and and... More

We spent two nights at the Ah Moy Cottage and our only regret is that we could not stay longer. The accommodation and its content was excellent. It had everything we needed. Our hosts Chris and Graham could not have been more helpful. They have done a great job developing Tin Dragon Trail Cottages and we wish them every success... More

These nicely designed little cottages have a theme from the Chinese tin mining era but they are beautifully equipped with modern facilities. We were welcomed in a most friendly manner and introduced to our cottage where ample breakfast supplies and other cooking basics were provided. The rural setting is delightful. There are interesting walks in the area. Our second visit... More

Myself & three friends spent the night in a lovely cottage. It was a little piece of paradise in the middle of Tasmania. The hosts Graham & Christine were very welcoming.. The cottage was very well equipped and spotless. The alpacas were an extra bonus as was Rusty the dog

Graham and Christine are indeed wonderful hosts - both so very warm and welcoming. The cottage was perfect for our all too brief overnight stay. My partner loved the indulgence of the outdoor spa under the stars. The property is very very beautiful with a lovely tree lined stream flowing nearby; and the alpaca herd added a special aesthetic touch... More

I cant imagine a more lovely place to stay while exploring the north east, or just purely for a relaxing, disconnecting couples getaway. Everything you would need was there. Neat, clean, cosy. We stayed in the little brick spa cottage (Fon Hock I think) and it was delightful with some nice romantic touches. Double shower heads, high quality bed sheets,... More
