This was the first place my husband and I stayed at on our honeymoon (in 2011 - the review details say April 2012 as that's the earliest date available in the list) to Tasmania. It is a lovely place and the cottage we stayed in was comfortable, very clean, beautifully furnished and just had a lovely feel. The ambiance was... More

Easily the best place we stayed in our month-long Australia adventure! Graham was friendly and chatty at check-in, very easy going and enjoyable to talk to. He gave us a tour of his gardens while picking some amazing produce for us to cook with our dinner. Tomatoes, onions, and bok choy. He invited us to help ourselves if we wanted... More

After reading excellent reviews and a personal recommendation, we used TDTC as the backbone of our round Tasmania family road trip. We were not disappointed. Our family consists of a four and a two year old and TDTC was perfectly suited for us. We spent six nights in one of the two bedroom cottages and was never at a loss... More

We had a lovely stay at Tin Dragon Trail Cottages last weekend. Our cottage contained everything we needed and was set in a peaceful and natural environment. Our kids really loved feeding the alpacas and searching for platypus at dusk. Graham arranged for us to have use of an outdoor spa one evening at one of the studio cottages down... More

We stayed here last year and loved it so much we came back. We stayed in Chintock. Graham and Christine were the perfect hosts. Unfortunately, my fiancé was not well during our stay. Graham and Christine made sure we have everything we needed and were excellent. Highly recommended. We were able to meet and greet the alpacas!

We spent a long weekend in Fon Hok Cottage with the works. Christine and Graham were the perfect hosts. They gave us all the info we needed about the cottage and area but they also gave us privacy as well. They have thought of everything you could want for singles, couples, groups and families. The cottage comes with all the... More

What a beautiful part of the world! Host Graham made us so welcome and we were delighted with our cottage (Fon Hock - with outdoor spa) The cottages have everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay - with attention to detail that really made our stay special. They were impeccably maintained and decorated in a warm, almost bohemian... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in fon hock cottage. This is the first time of us to visit Australia and stay in cottage. We just WOW and thinking can we extend for 3 or 4 nights when we just arrived! I recommend you have to stay 3 or 4 nights on this. It was the most relaxing and comfortable... More

My wife and I spent the last 2 nights of our Honeymoon here after reading such fantastic reviews. From minute one when we pulled in and saw the beautiful stream flowing down the side of the pebbled road leading to the cottages we knew it was something special. The host Graham came out and greeted us with champagne and chocolates... More

We had a couples (Two couples, mid twenties ) weekend away to Tasmania and stayed at the Tin Dragon trail cottages. Unfortunately I rarely review places but this stay was so good i felt compelled to. The rooms were nice and the kitchen/BBQ area provided means for self catering. The onsite walks are very well maintained and informative. The owners... More
